One was now all alone. Her best friend was now gone, no one else volunteered to go with them. So she just stood there, not knowing what to do.. oh right, she was trying to end the game. But how could that be possible? She couldn't just get a vacuum cleaner and start sucking the ghosts, they're not even real ghosts! One stared deep into the forest. The area she and Two were about to head off.
"The ghosts will probably give me some hints if I ask the right questions instead of asking for more time to live!" One snaps her finger, replacing the light bulb that pops out of her head when she gets a good idea. One looked behind then looked back up again. "For Two." With a determined look on her face, she marched off into the woods, all by herself.
With Nine and Eight
"You know what? This really isn't scarier than I thought!" Eight clicks his tongue in satisfaction.
"Well, you wouldn't say that after you saw a ghost!" Nine chuckles. Awkwardness. "Hey, is that Four?" Nine points out, then he grabs Eight and hides behind the bush.
Four was walking toward a temple. Sort of different from the temple Ten walked into. It was around four times tinier. And instead of doors, there were some clean white curtains. Right in front of the temple was a wooden sign and a bell. And of course, it was covered in blood. Four bent down to read what it said, mumbled for a second then rang the bell. Though the bell was smaller than Four's face, it made a sound, much bigger than its size.
Suddenly the curtain suddenly burst open, splattering blood everywhere. There was another ghost . This one looked bigger than the other ones. Or maybe it's because their white dress is bigger than the others.
"Haw, haw, haw *honk* haw!" The ghost laughed.
"Sixteen, is that you?" Four's gloomy face immediately lit up when he heard the ghost honk.
"Sixteen? Who's Sixteen? *Honk* I am the Ghost of Laughter!" The ghost did one more laugh and continued. "Did you come here to gain more minutes?"
"Yes! I'd like to gain.." Four thoughts for a second. He was planning to ask for 40 minutes. But if he loses the 40 minutes, he'll probably be out and will never get his revenge on whatever was going on. "Oh.. um.. maybe 5 minutes?"
"Here's the rules, kiddo!" The Ghost of Laughter winked at Four and gave him a little bonk on the head. "I'm gonna laugh a random laugh and you gotta guess who's laughing and why they're laughing. D'you get it? *Honk*"
"Uh, sure! How hard can it be?" Four shrugs. He did not get it.
"Okay! Here we go! *Honk*" The Ghost of Laughter slides their hand onto their neck like a warm up, shakes their head and finally opens their mouth. "Bwa-ha- *Honk* Mwa-ha- *Honk* Mwa-ha-ha-ha! Ha-ha-ha! *Honk*. That's it, now you gotta guess who's laughing."
Four just stood there confused. How was he supposed to know whose laugh that was. With all the honks between the laugh, it sounded 100% like Sixteen. But that chance happened to be low. So he was 'bout to walk away when-
"Ya need a hint? *Honk!*"
"Oh! Yes please!"
"Okaay! *Honk*. I'll give you four answers and you pick which one you think is the right one!"
(A/N: You can try guessing which one it is too! Just don't cheat by scrolling down to find the answer >:()
"Answer 1: The Terrible Two's after they brought round things into Square Club
Answer 2: Octonaughty after telling Octoblock and X that he's gonna stay in Alphaland forever
Answer 3: Octonaughty after breaking Twenty Seven
Answer 4: The Terrible Two's after tying Octoblock in Octonite."
"What?!" Four gasped. "But their laughs and voice sounds so similar and yours doesn't! You sure the answer is here?" The Ghost of Laughter nodded, with a satisfied look on their face.
Meanwhile Nine and Eight were still watching Four panic from the laugh the ghost gave him.
"Whaddya think?" Nine pokes at Eight. "What answer do you think it is?"
"What? Why are you asking me?"
"Because you handled them more than anyone else?"
"Oh yeah, sorry." Eight itches the back of his head in thought. "I think number 2. Honestly can't remember. Octonaughty isn't causing much trouble in the human world so I rarely hear him laugh."
"Um.." Four's still thinking. "1?"
"Wrong! *Honk*!" The Ghost of Laughter did their normal laugh. "The answer is three! You lose 5 minutes of your life!"
"What?! NOOO!" Four collapsed onto his knee.
"Ouch, you got it wrong too." Nine pokes Eight with his elbows again.
"That didn't sound like my laugh!" A voice squeaked behind the Ghost of Laughter. The ghost turned around who it was. It was Octonaughty. Four was still collapsed on his knees. "Well, do you wanna hear the 'Octonaughty after breaking Twenty Seven' laugh?'"
"Sure, why not?" Four finally stood up back onto his feet, giving the Ghost of Laughter a small glare.
"Well.." Octonaughty does a little shrug. "Here you go-
"See?!" Four suddenly jumped off the ground. "This is what I call a villain's laugh! And how am I supposed to know the difference between the Terrible Two's laugh and Octonaughty's laugh?"
"Come on Four, are you kidding me?" Octonaughty pinched the top of his nose in disappointment. "The Terrible Two's laugh goes like 'ho ho ho ho', or like- that dog from the game where that dog just sits on the couch laughing when you ask an important question!"
(A/N: I'm talking about the Talking Ben game ;-;)
"...what?" The ghost and Four stare at him in confusion.
"You know what? Nevermin-"
"Hey! Come on! We don't sound like that!" Another voice that sounds like Octonaughty, but a bit lower and sounds younger spawns in the middle of the argument. The Terrible Twos. They were running in a- very interesting way. They were both grabbing each end of their cloaks, probably to help each other not trip, due to stepping on the edge of their long cloak and the wind blowing it.
"Where are you guys going?"
"Another person's time ran up! Or they managed to do it twice. We don't know! Can we at least have a map or what?"
"What do you mean time run up?"
"You know what? We'll tell ya after ripping their name tags off. Adios amigo!" The Two that was nearer to Four waved one of their hands at them and continued running off. Four stared at the pair in a questionable expression.
"Wooaaahh, seems like you go lucky! They have never called me amigo before!" Octonaughty stared at Four in awh.
"Wh-what did they mean by 'They managed to do it twice', and 'do they have a map or what'?"
"Well.." Octonaughty did a quick glance at the temple. Giving Four a serious look, Octonaughty dragged him into an empty area.
Meanwhile Nine and Eight followed the Terrible Twos for some hints, Four had no one to save him... or maybe Octonaughty wasn't really planning to maul Four.
Octonaughty then suddenly leans toward and crouches down to Four's level.
"You really want some hints, huh?"
Four nodded vigorously. Octonaughty gave his throat a little 'ahem' and spoke as deep as he could go.
"Just don't get chosen."
(A/N: speaking of Octonaughty, I think I have a confession to make O_O. Dunno why I'm even pointing it out but-....... I think I simp for Octonaughty now O///O Yap- anyways have a great day!)
