Small town, you're bound to hear it all.
As soon as the air turned crisp and the leaves started to change, that's when the rumors started.
Rumors on what his next location was, would it be your house or will it be your favorite coffee shop? The jewelry shop in Greenburg or the school?
That's the thing, you never knew his next moves, you didn't know what his next target was. It was all random for us but for him, it seemed way more planned than you'll ever know.
Him, whoever that was. The town called him the Boogeyman, he didn't hurt anyone—that we know of, but he was still highly feared for some odd reason. Maybe it was the fact he was still unknown after two years of committing these crimes.
Crimes, well he vandalized the shit out of this town on everyone's most loved holiday, Halloween. Nobody knows why Halloween, maybe it's because everyone is out and dressed up so he can walk smoothly through the busy trick-or-treaters without people second-guessing his skeleton mask in the midst of them.
He did become quite popular around town, the unknown masked male who remained anonymous as he tore the town apart—lots of people dressed as him.
As Halloween rolls through, his name "The Boogeyman" roamed the halls of the only high school in town. Spreading from one mouth to another, every student took in all the theories of who might this man be and how he still wasn't caught.
Everyone had their theory, but known of them was right. The masked man wasn't just one male, he was four.
There were four Boogeymen in the town and that's what they were missing and forever will be missing.
