Changbin opens the trunk, handing everyone a sledge hammer. Getting to me, he stops "There's only one left"
"Oh, i'll sit this one out then" I nervously shift on my feet and fiddle with my hands.
"Stop being a dick Changbin, he can have mine" Felix says, handing me his sledge hammer.
I shake my head "No it's fine, i'm okay with watching" Felix frowns but nods nonetheless.
The group walks away and into the center on the town where the Mayors statue was displayed. Han walked beside me, mask on and staring ahead.
"The statue?" I ask Han, he looks at me and nods.
"Smart boy, I see"
I smile, but the mask hid it from his sight.
We all stop walking and stand before the large statue. I swallow harshly, "And the reason?"
"She's just as bad as the rest of them, covers for them even"
"She's a bitch" Felix says before swinging the sledgehammer to the statue making a piece break off and fall to the ground.
Hyunjin swings at it to "And she covers for all the murders in the town"
"And accuses the innocent" Changbin says, hitting the statue.
Han stands there, we all look at him "And she doesn't own up to her own wrongs" he says before swinging at it.
They continue to hit the stairs until it was broken to the point where you couldn't recognize it.
We all freeze when the sound of sirens are heard from a few blocks away. Looking at one another before Hyunjin says "Run!"
They all drop the sledge hammers and run into the woods as we couldn't go back to the car because of the cops.
Running and running until Felix stops, hunching over and putting his hands on his knees while breathing loudly. "Wait" He tries to catch his breath.
Taking off our masks, we all stop and breath "What are we supposed to do now?" Hyunjin asks.
I look around the woods and notice the familiar path. "I might have an idea on where to lay low for a bit"
The others look at me "No" Changbin says immediately.
"Changbin shut up" Hyunjin says, looking back to be "Where?"
"One of my friends own a lake house, he's having a party there tonight and it's not that far from here"
"Party?" Felix squeals out of excitement, grabbing onto Hyunjin.
"No parties, it's risky" Han says.
"Y'all are no fun, plus what else choices do we have?" Hyunjin says.
"Babe, us three leave and Changbin and Han can stay here and wait it out"
I look to Han and he rolls his eyes at the two. I smirk "I think that's a great idea"
Han looks at me "We stay together and I say we don't go"
