He avoided to go into the kitchen to not to give his mom any more reason to tease him. All the ladies were in the kitchen. It's hard to stop him from going in but anyhow he controlled himself. There she was carrying the bowls to the dinner table. It was his chance to talk to her so went near her

Karan: do you need any help ?

Teju: Naah it's already done. Your mom is such a good cook. I can just tell by the look of biryani.

Karan: yeah , do you like biryani ?

Teju: it's a deadly combination biryani with chicken curry. I loveeeee it

He smiled when she emphasized on the word love. He wanted to squeeze her cheeks but he knew he can't do that.
Both of their mom's coming out of the kitchen holding two bowls. All sat on the table to eat. He deliberately took the seat opposite her. She really enjoys her food, he loved to watch her eat. He just want push his plate a little , keep his elbows on the table and his palms under his chin and keep on looking at her eating but he knew he can't do that.

Teju: aunty the food is amazing

Mom: I am glad you liked it. Next time when you want to have it , just give me a call

Teju : for sure aunty , I will come to eat this biryani

Karan: mom makes amazing kadi- chawal and idli- samber

Teju: list is getting bigger and bigger aunty I love food.

Mom: anytime beta

After they ate they settled on the couch. She looks around the room , there was a wall full of family pictures. She got up to have a closer look, he follows her and she asked about some unknown faces in pictures he told her about his sister's family. On the couch his mom looking at them

Mom: they look so good together!! I think he likes her

She practically whispered so her Aai could hear her. Her Aai moved her head ahead to look at them then she looked at his mom

Aai: really ?? Are you sure about it?

Mom: let's send them out so that we can talk about it.

Aai: ok sure

Mom: sunny , neetu was telling me teju loves chocolate icecream

Karan: can I get it??

Mom : take her with you , she can choose for us as well.

Karan: ok if she wants to come

Teju: how can I say no to an icecream? Let's go

Karan picked up his car keys and left with her. he silently thanked his mom

His mom said it loudly as she was waiting them to leave
Mom : do you think sunny likes her?

Dad: Yes , he behaved differently around her. I noticed it too

Baba: what do you mean?

Mom: we were looking for a girl for Karan's marriage and we like your daughter so much and we think our son likes her too. Is she committed or something?

Baba : no she is very much single but we are not sure that she likes him.

Aai: we should be asking the kids first.

Mom: obviously we should, we should arrange few dates for them. If they like each other we can proceed. What do you think ?

Dad: it's gonna be awkward today , we should take some time to speak to them.

Aai: you are right. we shouldn't talk to them today

On the other hand when they reach his car, he opened the car door for her and then sat in the driving seat.
