Wow this is a long chapter! Over 3000 words. :)

Hana and Kaminari weren't able to get their feedback from the battle. They were taken straight to Recovery Girl where they spent the rest of the class period. All Might spoke to the class briefly and gave Jirou and Kirishima notes on how to improve before moving to the last two battles. The students, however, couldn't help but think about the curious shift in Hana's mood and ability after she took that crazy amount of lightning.

At some point on the way to the infirmary, Hana passed out and woke again in bed next to Midoriya and Kaminari. Midoriya was resting  with a cast on his arm and Kaminari was being examined by Recovery Girl. "It's a very mild concussion and some bruised ribs, you should be fine tomorrow with my quirk and some good rest." After the diagnosis, Recovery Girl kissed Kaminari and gave him some gummies. Hana sat up groggily and Kaminari waved as he left the room. Midoriya looked like he was sleeping, but Hana couldn't tell for sure.

As soon as Recovery Girl was done signing off on Kaminari's chart, she examined Hana. "No concussion," she diagnosed, "probably just quirk exhaustion. Any pain anywhere?" Hana told her about her headache and dizziness. Recovery Girl offered her some headache medicine and kissed her on the forehead to relieve any bruises and dizziness. "I see and your friend mentioned a memory problem, does that happen often when you overuse your quirk?" Hana glanced over at Midoriya, unmoving on his cot aside from the steady rise and fall of his chest. She pushed on, "well sometimes when I experience a really strong emotion, my quirk takes control and I can black out if it's really bad, but usually I can get it under control or at least remeber some of what happened, but something weird happened when I was hit with that lightning..."

Recovery Girl looked unamused as she complained about the over kill on the amount of spark Kaminari used. "Now deary, what exactly do you mean by 'weird'?" Hana shifted uncomfortably. "Well it was like- like I saw a memory that I didn't remember before and it threw me off... I'm not sure, c-can I just see my dad? He should know about this." Hana didn't like keeping things from Recovery Girl. The woman was well aware of Hana's past, but it felt weird talking about it with her especially when Izuku was so close by. Izuku stirred and sat up.

As soon as he saw Hana he tried to get out of bed to check on her, forgetting about his arm in a sling. He dropped back on the bed with a pained groan, earning a glare from Recovery Girl. He settled for talking Hana's ear off instead. "Are you okay? What happened? Were you hurt during a match? Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't get to watch it I-" Recovery Girl cut him off explaining that he was good to go, as long as he didn't use that arm the rest of the day, and so was Hana. They walked back to the classroom together, though the day was already basically over.

They entered the room and were immediately bombarded by their classmates introducing themselves and exclaiming how impressed they were with the two students' performances. The class chatted for a while longer until they slowly began drifting home. Hana caught Aizawa's eyes with a look that said 'talk later.' Midoriya left soon after the classroom emptied as he chased after an angry Bakugou. No idea what that's about, but hopefully it won't end in blood shed. Hana thought cynically. The room was empty other than Aizawa who sat patiently at his desk. He asked in a calm tone, "are you okay?"

Hana sighed. "Not exactly." Aizawa raised a concerned eyebrow. "I mean- physically I'm fine, now, but something happened that we really need to talk about."

Aizawa leaned forward. "I'm listening."

Hana went on to explain the lighting strike  from Kaminari and the freaky memory she somehow un-suppressed leading to an unconscious waltz through the air. "T-there was this... man," Hana struggled to get out the words, "H-he-" Aizawa listened intently with a slight frown. When Hana was finished Aizawa checked his surroundings, then put a hand on her hand. "I'm so sorry you had to relive that, but this may be a good thing. Dr. Canaan said that being able to remember and overcome these suppressed memories may be the key to mastering your uncontrollable quirk manifestation." Hana looked at him with glazed eyes. She was really tired, especially after Recovery Girl. "Y-yeah," she croaked, "this'll be a good thing. I'll finally gain control of my quirk and I won't be a danger to anyone ever again." Aizawa wanted to do more, say more, but he had no idea what to tell her to lift her spirits or at least ease her worry. He felt...powerless.
