Stiles

" So, you slept with him? Like actually?" Scott asked.

"No, not like that. Like we literally fell asleep together." I said.

"Hm. I just didn't think Derek would ever let anyone sleep next to him, let alone you." He said.

"Ouch. But yeah I agree. It's weird. It's like this whole thing is just a dream. I'm wondering if I'll ever wake up but I don't want to." I said.

"Okay but did you want to?"
"Oh yeah, of course."

After walking up to school with Scott, I headed into class.

I didn't care about what was being preached up front in the room. I just wanted to think about Derek. I still couldn't believe we liked eachother this way. I can't believe he and I kissed. I burried myself into my thoughts and couldn't fight it. I want Derek. All of him. But he said slow. So that's what I've got to do.

Some time had past, classes went on, and finally it was 2:30. I could leave and we can figure out this whole alp thing.

I drove to Deaton's and couldn't stop thinking on the way there. What if this creature has been in control of my mind for longer than just a few days? What if he's creating these thoughts for Derek? I mean I've never felt anything for him except hate before, so he could be making me feel this way as we speak. Why is he giving me nightmares, why me at all?

I walked through the lobby to the back where Deaton and Derek were chatting amongst themselves.

I made eye contact with Derek and a sense of awkwardness brushed over me and I nodded to him instead of hugging him. Derek tilted his head to the side and had a confused look on his face but he continued his conversation regardless.

"Thats the thing. He's just a guy. He has no tells, no significant features that we can tell him apart from a crowd. He looks normal." Deaton was describing the alp to Derek. Chris still had the thing locked up somewhere and only Deaton has gone to see it.

Derek walked over to stand next to me. He had his arms crossed and had a brooding look. I looked at him and smiled slightly.

As Deaton continued to tell the others about the creature and what he saw as Scott and Lydia were walking in, Derek sparked the conversation in a hushed voice at me.

"Hey, what's wrong, you seem upset or something?" He asked.

I shook my head and lost eye contact.

"I can't help but feel like I'm causing this issue. I mean we just got over Peter, the kanima killing frenzy, and now this? I mean do we ever get a break?" I asked.

Derek looked at me with longing eyes.

"You didn't do this Stiles. They want me, my power. They just know certain ways to get under my skin, like getting to you, that's all. Well Get through this, I know we will." He said. At this point he laid his hand on my arm and we were staring at each other.

His eyes were so sincere, this is definitely a different side to Derek than I'm used to. I love it though.

"Stiles, do you remember any other dreams or anything?" Scott asked. I was greeted with too many eyes.

"No, I only remember them after seeing those things in person. I don't remember him or that woman really at all. It kind of makes me feel violated actually." I said squirming my body in a cringe.

"Well we might have our next victim." Deaton said as he looked at Derek.

"Derek? How?" I asked.

"Derek told me the last nightmare you've had, you said his name. That's the only thing I've got as a lead." Deaton said.
