Two weeks, twelve hours, and thirty two minutes. That's how long it's been since Harry and I danced around the diner like two high schoolers, having the time of our lives.

I was making my way down to the pitch as the first game of the season was starting in thirty minutes. I wanted to make sure I had a good seat, so Harry would be able to see me from his spot down on the turf of the pitch.

I was wrapped in a team hoodie H had so kindly left on my couch, his last name plastered in embroidered letters across the back really added to the overall look I was going for - a nice little casual best friend going to support her best friend/basically boyfriend for the first game of the season vibe; you know nothing too much.

The walk was the same as usual. The sun was setting, the wind blowing, and orange and red leaves around on the sidewalk as I made my way closer to campus. The crowds were starting to form around the entrance to the field, but I fought my way through and over to the bleachers.

I found a spot, front and centre. The perfect place to watch Harry play.

A few more minutes passed by and the stands were now full. I spotted Lou down on the bench where our team would gather. He turned around to examine the crown, sending me a small wave before turning around to busy himself with his phone.

The team had started to run out onto the pitch, turning to the crowd as everyone cheered. I waited patiently until Harry came into view, a smile on his face that I could stare at for hours. He was quick to spot me, running up to the fencing along the bleachers that came up to his chest.

I jumped up from my seat, walking forward reaching my arms out to hug his as best as I could with the fence between us, but nonetheless, we made it work.

"Good luck out there, I want to celebrate a win tonight."

I could feel the warmth of my cheeks rising at my own choice of words. Harry just smiled and ran his fingers through his brunette curls as he looked down at me with those green eyes that I have such a soft spot for.

"We'll be celebrating, I promise. I've got you here, that's what matters."

The coach started to call for all the team to huddle on the sidelines of the field, presumably to go over a game plan. I went to go sit back down in my seat, but before I could turn around Harry was pulling me closer, pressing a quick kiss to my lips. It was innocent, something for him to hold onto for the game.

"Love you!"

He called out as he shuffled backwards slightly before turning around and jogging off towards the huddle of boys that were all wearing the same uniform as Harry.

Harry just kissed me and he did it in what seems to be the most public spot yet. With people everywhere watching our every move, he did it so effortlessly and without any hesitation. Of course this has me wondering what his current status with Lennon is, but I tried to push that thought to the back of my head because I was here to focus on Harry and on the game.

The match was well underway, the first half going quite well as Harry was the star of the show. I had lost count of how many goals he made after seven. The opposing team wasn't as skilled as our uni team, but I wasn't going to complain about that. Harry on the other hand, I know he'll have a few things to say when we get back home.

Half time had finished forty minutes ago, with five minutes left in the last half. It was an easy win. Hell, the team wouldn't even have to try for the last five minutes of the game, but Harry had somehow talked them all into sticking with the game plan.
