Cindy was staring at herself in the full length mirror. She was dressed in a white wedding gown with her makeup down and holding her boutique in her hands. She smiled to herself as she thought back to the day Jayce proposed to her.

Flashback
It was two months after her college graduation. Cindy wakes up to a notification of a text.
Candice: Hey up for a girls day out?
Cindy: Sure why not. We didn't have one of those in a while.
Candice: I will pick you up at noon
After reading the text, Cindy goes downstairs to see Jacye cooking breakfast. Jayce turns his head when he heard Cindy entering the kitchen.
He smiles and says, "Good morning love". Jayce and Cindy moved in together two weeks after her graduation. "Good morning breakfast smells good" she replies to him.
"Making your favorite chocolate chip pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs."
"Candice will be picking me up at noon to have a girls day'
"Sounds good I have a few errands I need to run"
Cindy comes home from shopping with Candice when she noticed the lights are off and there's a path with roses and candles. There is also a sticky note on the wall. It tells her to follow the path. As she is walking down the path, she looks at the walls filled with pictures of Jayce and Cindy throughout their relationship. Some of them have little notes describing how much he loves her.
She comes to a stop when the roses end at the slid through door leading into the backyard. Cindy opens the door to see Jayce on one knee holding a Border Collie puppy. She gasps when Jayce asks, " Will you marry me?" as he twists the puppy's collar to reveal the ring.
Cindy just says one word.
"Yes"
