While Candice was driving to the boutique, Cindy was in the backseat frantically changing out of her dress and into her clothes so that Shirley won't get suspicious. She took off the mask wiped off all of her makeup. She tried to flatten her curls to look like her hair wasn't curled for a certain occasion. While she was taking out her earrings, she noticed she only had one earring.

"Crap"

"What's wrong?" Candice asked.

"I lost one of your earrings."

"Its ok those earrings were nothing special."

Candice parked in front of the boutique. Cindy took her stuff and quickly opened the door.

"Thanks Hedi again for covering for me." Cindy said while hiding the dress and everything in her bag behind the counter.

"No problem. I'm gonna go before Shirley catches me. Bye."

Few minutes later Shirley came into the boutique. "Good you were here in the boutique the whole time."

"If you only knew." muttered Cindy.

Jayce was determined to find the blonde girl he danced with at the dance. He went up to every blonde girl in school.  Phoebe and Mercedes proclaimed that they lost the earring. Jayce bluntly told them that he was looking for a blonde girl. He thought finding the girl was gonna be easy since there wasn't many blonde girls in the school. Every girl he went up to didn't have the same tone of voice or their ear pierced as the girl at the dance.

Cindy heard Jayce was going up to every blonde girl to see if they lost an earring. She avoided every place Jayce could be so she wouldn't be asked.

At the end of the day, Jayce was turning into the school lobby to head towards his locker, when he noticed that Cindy was carrying something black and white towards Candice. His eyes widened when he realized its the same mask the mystery girl he was looking for wore at the dance. He went closer, but not to close to stay hidden, towards the two girls to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Thanks Candice for letting me borrow this mask. Sorry I didn't give this back earlier."

"Thanks and don't worry about it."

Jayce gasped. It was Cindy all along. He should've realized a while ago that Cindy had the same features as the girl he danced with. Getting out of his hiding spot, he turned away, forgetting about his locker and drove home to figure out how he wanted to give Cindy her earring back.
