~1992~
The dawning of a new day in Diagon Alley makes the timing for students to get their things for school. The street was crowded, shops were bustling, and happy faces and laughing could be heard all around. Besides one group in particular. The Malfoy family minus their adoring mother were collecting everything they need with the company of Mr. Flint and Marcus Flint.
Due to the arrangement their parents had made Marcus and Capella walk hand-in-hand into the bookstore following Lucius. Once in the shop Draco runs upstairs to look at different books.
But no one's attention was fully on the books in the store but rather to Gilderoy Lockhart. Capella rolls her eyes. She had heard that he was going to be teaching at Hogwarts this year but didn't want to believe it was so until now.
"Capella stand up straight! Stop slouching!" Lucius seeths towards his daughter. "Yes, father." Capella says without an emotion shown on her face. Marcus squeezes her hand to show the poor girl he is there for her.
Capella sees Draco pulling out a book on the stairs. It was not just any book though, it was a very specific book.
Capella knew her father was working on a plan to happen at Hogwarts. What it was, she had no clue, what she knew was, she was suppose to be the one to execute the plan, but things changed at the very last minute. Now she was in the dark about it all and she hated it. Did she like that her father was working on a plan? She wasn't quite sure. It didn't seem to be right or a very good thing to do, but her parents believed it was, so it had to be right?
The book Draco picked Capella recognized as the Fantastic Beasts guide. She watched him rip a page out and gave him a questioning look. What was that boy up to? Just then she turned her attention to the people that Draco was now talking to.
"Look Pottah, it seems like you got yourself a little girlfriend!" Draco exclaims with a smile on his face. "Draco" Capella says calmly, just trying to earn her brother's attention to warn him.
Draco turns to his sister, seeing her face and stepping back to where she is. "Yea that's right Malfoy listen to your bossy big sister," the younger red headed boy spats, giving his siblings a smirk. "Oh that's it you're in for it now Weaselbe!" Draco says while stepping forward.
The Weasleys were always an overwhelming bunch. Capella often didn't pay attention to them since they are known as blood traitors in her family, and the fact they are Gryffindor. She didn't even know their names.
Even with the comment that was thrown at her Capella kept an emotionless face, but she knew that this wasn't gonna end well. Capella turns to Marcus for any form of slight comfort, and he gives her a confused look. They both turned forward to see Draco up in the boy's face.
Until something in Capella snaps. Lucius lunges forward while pursuing Draco's hand with the snake head on his walking stick.
She hated that snake head. The way she sees it there is no need for her father to even have it. As Capella watches the snake purse into her little brother's skin, and Draco's sullen face, she steps forward.
"Father, that's enough! He's learned his lesson!" She says forcefully. All groups standing there, Malfoy, Weasleys, and Flints, look shocked to say the least. Lucius goes from shocked to furious in an instant.
"Stupid girl! You will not talk to me in that manner ever!" Lucius bellows and removes the snake from Draco's hand to Capella's pushing it farther into her skin for longer than Draco's before releasing it. "We will discuss this at home! We are leaving now!" Lucius says as he walks out with Mr. Flint.
The three children stand there looking at Capella and Draco's hands, astonished with the wounds. Capella looks towards the door and then to the Weasleys which is when she sees them.
Beautiful, deep, rich brown eyes. They belong to the boy who had a twin standing next to him. She might not know who they were, but she could tell the difference between the twins. The twin had honey brown eyes, while her new favorite eyes were dark and deep, they were so close to the fact that if not looking carefully enough you might mistaken those eyes as identical.
Those eyes were looking back into her stone cold blue eyes, that looked more gray than blue. The twin was scowling before the older male assumably Mr. Weasley spoke up.
"Well Flint, Malfoys. You better go before your fathers' get even more mad." He has a look of sympathy, something that Capella would grow to understand.
Marcus grabs Capella's not hurt hand giving her a sad and sorrowful look. Capella looks towards her brother as she grabs his wounded hand with hers before looking up to the Weasleys again. "I am sorry for any inconveniences Mr. Weasley. Hope you all have a lovely day." Capella gives a slight smile to the group before they all turn towards the door.
"Thank you, sister," Draco whispers to Capella. She slightly smiles to let the young boy know she heard him and appreciated his comment.
Capella looked back to the Weasleys as they got to the door and again locked eyes with those beautiful dark eyes, with the only other person looking at her being the matching set of eyes. The difference between the two now other than color is, one looked longingly and sorrowful at the girl and the lighter looking dreadful and angrily. One thing Capella knew for sure is she could only hope to see those longing eyes again sometime soon.
