Y/N's POV
While I was hanging out with everybody, the door suddenly burst open, and I heard a female voice call down "Hey Mike, Jon and I are gonna be upstairs in my room." He yelled back something about "coming down to meet the new kid", but I didn't pay much attention. I was watching the TV when I felt Mike tap my shoulder. I looked up at him to see what he needed, and I saw two other people, who looked like they were about my age. There was female with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. Beside her, a boy with shoulder length brown hair and green-blue eyes. The boy just stared, so the girl introduced him. "I'm Nancy, and this is Jonathan." She said. Jonathan just kept staring, and so did I for a minute. Then I said "Nice to meet you." Nancy said "You too", then Jonathan pet my head, and walked off. I felt my face heat up a lot, but I also felt disappointment, I liked his touch a lot. Mike can see the frown after Jonathan quit petting my head, so he came over and started petting my head. Jonathan seemed to glare at Mike before storming off to, what I'm assuming is, Nancy's room.
Jonathan's POV
Why am I so jealous over Mike petting that boy's head. I know I did it first, but I want to be the only one who does it. I started blushing when he seemed disappointed that I had quit petting his head. I hate that Mike made him look so content when he pet his head, I want to be the only one who can make him content. Wait, what am I thinking? I'm dating Nancy, I should want this with Nancy, not a random kid off the street who happens to be very cute and addictive to the touch. Wait... what if he's like El, what if he's got powers that are making me feel like this? No, I couldn't think bad about him without knowing him first. Nancy walks in and asks if I'm ok. I answer that I'm fine, but she doesn't look like she believes me. I'm not ok, why is that boy stuck in my head, and if he's like El, wouldn't he be El's age?
