Meeting Steve

Y/N's POV
Will and I were walking down the street when we heard someone yell out, "Hey! You need a ride?" I looked to Will for an answer, and he told them yes because it was raining. Turns out, it was Jonathan and Nancy. It was an awkward car ride, especially after they knew where we were going. Jonathan kept staring at me, while asking Will questions, and Nancy asked questions while she was driving. They dropped us off at the Arcade, and asked if we needed someone to pick us up. Will told them no, and that we had a ride home. Which is a lie as far as I know. So, I asked him why he lied, and he said he didn't. Probably best to leave it be, then.

We are playing games waiting for Steve to show up, or that is what Will is doing. I am watching him, and wondering what he is playing, he never told me the name. "Hey, Will?" He looks up at me, "Yeah?" "What game are you playing?" He gave me a weird look. "Do you not know how to read?" I shake my head no. "I'm playing PacMan" oh, I used to play that. It was fun, but I never played it in an arcade.

Will's POV
He looked at me and cocked his head to the side. He looks like a cute puppy. "Do you wanna try?" I couldn't help but ask, he looked so cute trying to figure something out. He jerked his head up with wide eyes that were gleaming with excitement and shook his head yes. God, he looks so adorable, like an innocent best friend.(Not Will friend zoning himself and Y/N) Just as Y/N is getting the hang of it, I see Steve walk in looking for us, so I wave at him, but he doesn't notice. "I'm gonna go grab Steve really quick, just stay here, ok?"

Y/N's POV
Will tells me to stay here and runs off, so I stay. Next thing I know, Will is coming back over with a male slightly taller than me. He introduces himself as Steve Harrington. " Hi, I'm Y/N!" Steve just sits there, staring. I wave my hand in front of his face, trying to get his attention. Will looks at us, laughs, then says he'll deal with it, and he walks Steve over to what I think is the bathroom.

Steve's POV
He introduced himself to me with an energetic smile and excitement in his voice, and I froze from how cute he was. Will told me he was cute, not that he was drop dead gorgeous. I look over when Will grabs my arm and starts leading me to the bathroom.
