Before we start this chapter, I want to thank you all for showing interest in this book and being interactive.
At this point, I have decided to leave the statistics about how many stories are present on Wattpad under this plotline because by searching keywords, I can see it can't be truly accurate. However, there are many stories based on Batman's love interest and we will be discussing the cliché aspects of these stories.

There are very few stories that take Bruce's canon relationship with Selina Kyle and write about it. Same goes for Talia Al Ghul, Andrea Beaumont and Samantha Vanaver. Mostly, fanfics written about Bruce Wayne feature an OC as a love interest or are those x Reader fanfics that are quite popular among the audience at Wattpad.
[Btw, I don't like x Reader fics, I feel weird reading a Y/N instead of a name each time plus all the other terms that are used for eye color and hair color etc such as Y/E/C and Y/H/C. I don't know about you guys but it breaks the momentum for me].

OC's Personality and traits:
1. The OC is usually an average young girl who catches Bruce's eye at an ordinary event, or she can be a damsel in distress rescued by the Batman once and then he couldn't stay away from her.
2. In other cases, the OC belongs to an equally rich family as the Waynes, owns a prosperous business or is a business rival turned to lover later on.
[To be honest, if done right, this business rival to lovers trope can work very well but I am yet to find a good fanfic written on this. If you have any recommendations, let me know].
3. Do I even need to mention that the OC is an exceptional beauty who Bruce falls in love with at first sight? I guess not, you guys must have seen this overused enough.
