Chifuyu's POV~

I was on my way home from visiting Baji-San's grave when a strange shop caught my attention. I went inside and looked around. It was mostly full of strange items like crystals, tarot cards, candles, posters, clothes, and it was witchy stuff. A giant book caught my attention, and I suddenly hav the thought, that I could also time leap and save Baji-san. I went over and started looking through the book, however due to touching what wasn't mine to touch, I was cursed. I became the animal Baji-san and I loved most: cats. I had turned into a cat. Then, soft hands picked me up and turned me to face her. It was a beautiful enchantress, although she was to old for me. She smiled sweetly. "Ah, sorry about that. You want to save your friend, yes? Leave that to me. In the meantime, could you do me a favor little Matsuno-san?" She said, smiling. I tilted my head. 'What kind of favor?' I thought, blinking. She suddenly turned into a girl around Baji-san's age. "I want you to watch over my younger sister. I want to know why she's so hurt lately. And since I can't comfort her, could you do that for me?" She asked, and I nodded. 'Sure, why not? It's not like I have anything better to do. Could you call my mom and tell her I have a school project and will be staying the night at my friend's house for time being?' I asked, and she nodded. "Thank you, Matsuno-san. I'll send you to her." She said, casting a spell. I appeared in an alleyway and looked around. There was a beautiful girl who looked like the enchantress being bullied. I went closer to hear what they were saying. 

"—Hahaha! You stupid little bitch! I've never loved you, that's why i cheated on you! You're a freak who doesn't deserve love! It's o wonder your parents killed themselves to get away from you and your freaky sister!" The boy said, and there was a not-so-pretty girl by his side. I jumped up onto the dumpster and jumped up onto his shoulder. I clawed his face repeatedly, before jumping off and nuzzling the enchantress's sister. She picked me up and held me in her arms. It was warm and safe. It felt like heaven, however I also was trying not to blush as I was against her breasts. She stood up and slapped the guy and the girl in the face. "We're over. I never want to see you both again. Bye." She said, taking me and running away. She took me to the apartment building Baji-san and I had lived in together. She bowed to Baji's mom, who was crying. "Ah, good evening Y/N-chan! (Sniffle, sniffle) how are you and your sister?" Baji's mom asked, and she gave a soft smile. "We're doing alright, Miss Baji! How are you holding up?" She asked, coming over and giving Baji's mom's shoulder a gentle comforting squeeze. "As good as I'm able. Would your sister really be able to save my son?" Baji's mom asked, and I looked up at the pretty girl named Y/N. She nodded confidently. "Of course! My sister was in love with Kei-san. She's gathered the ingredients she needs, and she plans to do it soon. So, don't worry. This horrible nightmare will be over soon. I better get this precious kitty inside and feed him with som meat. He deserves a treat for saving me." She said, smiling. "That boy Kei beat up for you last week, is still bothering you?" Baji's mom asked, and she nodded. After, they shared a couple more words, I was still surprised to know they knew Baji-san.

She took me inside and set me down gently. She went over to the fridge and pulled out some streak. She cut it up into strips and fried it. It smelled really good, and she cooled it down and gently set it down in front of me along with a bowl of warm milk. I ate and drank them both happily. She added a little bit of honey to the milk and it was really good. She then went into her room, leaving the door open. Once I finished, I walked over and saw her go into the bathroom, and hearing the shower running, I went back out of her room and stood guard. After a few minutes, she got out, dried off, and got dressed. I turned around and saw she had finished, and was now blow-drying her hair as she brushed it out. Once she was finished, she laid on her bed. I jumped up beside her, and want over and laid on her chest as she started to cry silently. I nuzzled my face into her cheek and she looked at me. She gave a sad gentle smile, and gently scratched my ears, and i started purring. I know understand how Peke J feels. I turned my gaze on her once more, and gently patted her cheek with my paw, which might I add, Was  adorable?

She studied me and smiled. "Baji-San, Mikey-San, Mitsuya-San, Pah-chin, Haruchiyo-san, Emma-chan, and Senju-chan were childhood friends with my sister and I. We all separated, they became a gang and stopped hanging out with them, for our safety of course. However, Baji-San was like my brother, and I loved him as such. I shipped him with my sister, and considered him my brother in law. He would always protect me from my ex. The guy you saw in the alley bullying me? He cheated on my with my best friend, and we broke up. However, he still harasses me. Thanks to the creating rumors at school, no one wants to date me and they join in on the bullying. Baji-san isn't here anymore to kick their asses...I wish I would have joined Grandpa Sano's martial arts classes..." She confessed, and our eyes met. My heart fluttered, and I nuzzled her once more. "Baji-san was going to introduce me to his friend Chifuyu Matsuno at our Halloween party later, but... that didn't turn out too well. He said Chifuyu and I would get aalong, due to our shared love of cats, manga, and anime. I was looking forward to meeting the cutie by Baji-san's side. I've seen him around, and he as always beat up but he was still cute. You know, you remind me of him, somehow... I think it's the eye color. I think I'll call you Chi for now." She said, and a memory of Baji-san telling me about this pretty girl named Y/N and now that I met her, Baji was right. The moment I met her, I wanted to protect her and treat her better.

She eventually fell asleep and I sat up on her bed, keeping watch until her older sister entered, and suddenly my memories were altered and shifted. Baji-san was sitting on the couch and I nuzzled her once last time before getting up and walking out. I jumped up onto Baji's lap and looked into his eyes and teared up and nuzzled him. the pretty enchantress giggled, and picked me up. She set me off to the side and broke the spell on me and returned me to being human. We all got caught up, and then Y/N walked out, rubbing her eyes cutely. "Nee-chan.. what's going o-" She asked, but stopped when she saw Baji-san. She teared up and once he stood up, she ran and hugged him tightly. He chuckled and comforted her and then moved away. "This is my buddy Chifuyu Matsuno." Baji introduced, and she fixed her teary beautiful jewel like eyes on me.  I blushed as she took my hands in hers. "It's nice to finally meet you Chifuyu-san! Mind if I call you Fuyu? I'm Y/N L/N, by the way." She said, with a cute smile. I smiled and pulled her into a tight hug. "Call me whatever you'd like, however in return, I get to call you mine. I'll adore you and never let anyone hurt you." I said, and she looked at me, blushing. She kissed both of my cheeks, causing them to tint redder, and hugged me back. "If that was your way of asking me out, then my answer is yes." She said, and I blinked. I can't believed I pulled a beautiful, kind-hearted girl!

Third Person's pov~

Y/N was waiting for Chifuyu, dressed cutely. They had a date planned, and her ex and his new girl came over to bother her, but she flat out ignored them. Then, she saw Chifuyu and ran towards him. "Fuyu!" She said, hugging him. He chuckled and hugged her back. "Yes, princess? Was I late?" He asked, and she shook her head no, and they shared a sweet kiss before she laid her head on his shoulder. He then caught glimpse of her ex and his girl. They walked over and started downgrading Y/N  and Chifuyu was trying his best to hold in his anger. He didn't want to cause trouble on their date, but he couldn't take it and punched the guy in the face, sending him flying and knocking him out. "Leave my beautiful girlfriend's name out of your mouth. If I hear or see you bothering her again, I'll kill you." Chifuyu said, then gently took Y/N's hand and went about on their date to a cat cafe. They had fun, and Chifuyu gave her a box. She opened it to find matching couple promise rings. He was blushing and too shy to ask what he was going to ask but he didn't need too. She understood him perfectly and slid the ring onto her finger and slid his onto his finger. "I love you, Fuyu." She said, smiling happily. Her words were sincere and she meant every one. "I-i-i l-l-love y-y-you t-t-too..Y-Y-Y/N.." He said, blushing.
