Yura took one deep breath and straightened her shirt-jacket as she stared in the mirror. This was her chance, her chance to rebuild a once lost friendship.

Her mind went to what Minhee had told her the night before. It was truly her fault she and chan were like this in the first place.

It was her  fault they weren't talking,

Her  fault they never texted because she left him on read,

And it was never awkward, it was all in Yura's  troubled mind.

She sighed as she plopped herself on the edge of her bed. The first thought that came to her was Joshua. Why, why was it Joshua?

He was a bitch, for sure she knew that. But for some reason, she missed their bickering, she missed his hugs and consolation, she missed it all.

Yura cursed herself for thinking like that. She was going to the beach with Chan, not Joshua. But Joshua was all that was on her mind.

The loud sound of her doorbell shook her from her thoughts and she swung her beach bag over her shoulder before striding to the front door.

The smiling face of Chan was the first thing she saw, and she was oblivious to the genuine smile forming on her face. It was a reflex for her at this point, he just made her happy, what more was there to it?

"Let's go?" He questioned as Yura simply grinned and swung her arm over Chan's neck before the two exited the modern apartment.

A door opened behind the two and cause them to turn back, and they were met with the face of Minji.

Yura noticed how her smile faltered the second she made eye contact with her, but she brushed it off quickly.

"where are you guys off to?" She asked, not batting an eye towards Yura and only focused on the male before her.

"the beach!" He answered enthusiastically.

"Ooh! Mind if i join!" She asked, and the aegyo in her voice caused Yura to cringe. She felt bad for cringing, but it was a natural reflex.

Yura secretly hoped Minji wouldn't annoyingly tag along yet again, and she felt horrible for even thinking about it.

Sure Minji's aegyo was cringey, and sure she never batted an eye towards Yura, but she was a decent human being. It made Yura feel quite guilty actually. All Minji was deep down was a hopeless girl who falls at any attractive man's feet. In fact, it even reminded Yura of herself.

The days when she actually had feelings for Chan, before she grew them out, as she believed.

"Actually, i was hoping to just hang out with Yura today, next time?" Yura couldn't believe what she had heard. Chan was denying Minji? Clearly Minji was thinking the same as her face immediately fell.

"yeah, we can plan something else!" Yura added, trying to lighten the mood. Although, she was appalled when Minji only rolled her eyes and scowled towards her. Maybe Chan needed to be a little harsher with her pathetic self. Yes, she did just say she pitted Minji only a few moments ago, but well, she was known for switching 180 wasn't she?

"yea- yeah um sure, next time!" Minji forced a smile before returning into her cave. Yura realized Minji had always been like this, she just always let it pass because of guilt for her.

Guilt truly overshadowed.

"now, let's actually get going?" Yura hesitated, but eventually shot him a smile and they started on their rendezvous.
