Darius vs Wrecker

Inside an ancient temple multiple stone statues stood motionless.

Each of them was unique from the other.

However just then a huge statue in the center of the temple began to glow brightly and cracks started to form on it.

Just then there was a bright flash and standing on the base of the statue was a large Tyrannosaurus like creature with a stance similar to a human bug with armour plating and tail club of an Ankylosaurus, the frill and horns of a Triceratops, the tail spikes of a Stegosaurus, and the hands and feet of a Velociraptor but much bigger.

"I'm free!" He exclaimed.

The being then looked around the temple he was inside. It was overgrown and falling apart.

"Rise Kronos! My most loyal servant!" The being bellowed.

Just then the statue of a Deinonychus with traits similar to a Parasaurolophus began to crack and then turned into the creature's organic form.

"I live to serve you master." Kronos said with a bow.

The being then smirked down at his servant.

"Go to this Crater and kill this Spinosaurus." The being said as then a picture of the crater appeared followed by a picture of a white, purple, and dark brown Spinosaurus.

--meanwhile at the crater--

Darius walked up to a river that Brooklynn had shown to him earlier and he looked down into the water.

He didn't see any fish despite the water being almost crystal clear.

The Spinosaurus let out a sigh.

He then dipped his snout into the water and began to drink.

However just then Darius heard powerful footfalls approaching him and Darius looked up after hearing the brush shake on the other side of the river.

Standing on the other side of the river was Wrecker.

"What do you want, Wrecker?" Darius asked as he lifted his snout from out of the water.

"To challenge you to a duel." Wrecker said. "Argo Carni."

Darius was familiar with the term "Argo Carni". It was used when two Megatheropods had to challenge each other over territory, mating rights, or food.

The fights usually only lasted until one of the fighter's yielded or when the other combatant was dead. And it was considered shameful to decline the challenge.

"I accept." Darius said.

He could see Wrecker's lips pull back into a dark smirk.

"Good." Wrecker spoke. "It will happen tomorrow at sunrise."

"But where exactly are we fighting?" Darius asked.

"The flatirons." Wrecker answered.

The Giganotosaurus then turned around and stomped off back into the foliage.

Darius then got a feeling that he was going to regret accepting Wrecker's challenge.

Darius then noticed a singular brown trout swim by, and he swiped his claws at it. Impaling and also killing it instantly.

Darius just swallowed the fish whole and then walked off back towards his new friends.

He noticed all five of them looking at him with a concerned face.

"What?" Darius asked.

"Did you really just accept Wrecker's challenge?" Brooklynn asked.

"Yes. How did you know?" Darius said.
