As Horace sunk down beside his friend, he frantically mumbled  words of comfort. Will's eyes were staring unsettlingly straight forward, and he didn't respond as Horace dashed his hands from the wounds. Both where jagged and deep, blood welling up at alarming rate. His shirt was already soaked and sticking to his chest. Panicking, Horace tore back the tunic and stripped the edge off of his own, balling it up and pressing it tightly against the wounds.

"No! No, no, no, no, don't die on me, please, Will, stay with me... you'll be okay, you'll be okay!"

Wills eyes fluttered slightly, shifting from that imaginary point high in the sky to Horace's face.

"Yes! Will- You'll be okay, I promise you, you'll be okay, I- stay with me, please?"

Will croaked a quiet, raspy response of only one word, "Where's..."

"He's gone." Horace uttered, his voice low. "But that's- that's okay, it's okay, you'll be-"

"Go... After him..." he mumbled

"No! Will, he's not important! I'm not leaving you!"

"I'm not leaving you."

"Don't leave me, please, it'll be okay."

"Will?"
