'Thea where'd you put the eyelash curler?' Estella asked, poking her head out of the bathroom door. The trio plus Aurora, were getting ready for the Hufflepuff party in the Ravenclaws' dorm room. Estella was currently occupying the bathroom as she was straightening her just past shoulder length hair.

'Last I saw it w-' Alethea's words were cut off by the deadly glare Adelyn sent her as she continued lining Alethea's lips a matte punch pink. Rolling her eyes, Alethea pointed towards a pile of makeup supplies that were spread out on their shared desk.

'Got it!' Was Estella's reply as she hustled back to the mirror in the bathroom. She insisted on doing her own makeup, since she didn't want anything crazy done. Unlike the other three girls who had a system going for them; Alethea did their hair, Adelyn was doing makeup, and Aurora was in charge of painting nails. Their system was proving to be efficient, because now it was just Alethea's makeup that they had to finish before they could all put on their costumes.

'Rara, do I put gold glitter near her temples too or not?' Adelyn questioned Aurora, wanting her opinion on Alethea's makeup look. She had already put shimmery gold eyeshadow on Alethea, now she just needed a second opinion.

Aurora walked over from her bed to stand in front of Alethea's who was sitting on the desk chair, that was moved into the centre of the dormitory. Aurora inspected every inch of her face clearly, admiring the smokey eye Adelyn had accomplished.

'I think you should, it will definitely compliment the gold on her lids.' Aurora replied, taking a step back from Alethea, directing herself towards the bathroom where they had all just heard Estella let out a yelp.

'You alright in there Ella?' Alethea called out to her friend in concern.

'Yep! All goo-oww shit!' Came the muffled reply from Estella, she had just burnt herself a second time with the hair straightener. 'This time I'm all good, Rara is going to finish it for me!' Estella reassured Alethea and Adelyn from inside the bathroom.

The two girls laughed at Estella's reply as Adelyn continued to dab rather large flakes of gold glitter onto the sides of Alethea's face. Finally, after another five minutes, Alethea's makeup was finally done and Estella was burn-mark free, all thanks to Aurora who performed a small healing spell. Just getting their hair and makeup done took three hours, now thankfully, it was finally time to put their whole looks together.

Adelyn was dressed as a pirate; wearing a white blouse that reached her mid thigh and had sleeves that puffed out where they ended at her elbows. A black corset could be seen peeking out from behind a green sash tied around her waist. Also wrapped around her waist was a gold coin chain. Matching the chain was a rather busy looking gold necklace. She was wearing thigh high, black boots that made her seem a few inches taller. Her makeup was simple yet effective, she had bold eyeliner and a nude lip. Topping the look off with a green bandana, tied around her head and her blonde hair flowed down her back, containing five or six thin plaits.

Alethea was wearing the most revealing outfit out of the four, dressing up as a Goddess. There is a meaning behind the costume: the idea coming from her name's origin. Alethea meant the goddess of truth. She believed she would be making a statement, which she most definitely was.

She was wearing a white, thin strapped body suit that had a v-line stopping just above her bellybutton, with a almost completely open back - aside from two thin ties, where one wrapped around her waist and the other crisscrossed over her rib cage. Sitting on her hips was a white, sheer fabric skirt, with two large slits, sitting over the outer part of either leg. Worn on her freshly nail painted feet, were gold strapped, two inch heels. Alethea opted for only a few extra inches so she could still dance.
