I woke up to the sound of my alarm. The soundproof walls made the sound to bounce off the walls like a hunter in an alleyway. I quickly turned the alarm off and got up. I quickly got dressed in some ripped jeans, a spiked bracelet, a spiked choker, and my (f/c) hoodie. I grabbed my backpack and my new bat. I then grabbed my guns.
I exited my home and climbed the fence again. I opened the map and started looking for my next adventure. On the map I noticed a place marked " gym." definitely not there. That's a common place to find tanks. Another place was marked " mall." not there either. If it's the mall I was thinking of, it was infested with common infected and, for some reason, spitters. I hate spitters. Alot.
I traced my finger across the map until I came across something marked " beach." if it's the beach I'm thinking of, alot of parkourists liked to hang out around there since there were lots of places to jump and stuff. Parkourists mean hunters. Hunters meant bad. But it was safest thing I had come across so far. I'll try and find something else... "Sugar mill?" Witc- NOPE. I'LL TAKE HUNTERS OVER WITCHES ANY DAY.
I walked down the stone path leading the the stairs that lead down to the beach. My eyes peeled for the bright hoodies hunters often wore. I saw a few common infected. Let's just say they didn't last very long and my bat gained a few new blood stains. I walked down the stairs until my shoes sunk in the sand. I looked around again. Oh yay. More common infected friends. I quickly bashed their skulls in and went on my way.
I had been walking for an hour. I didn't really find anything useful other than a few coolers filled with soda. I decided to practice parkour so I could escape a sticky situation easily. I kept my eyes peeled for any hunters but saw nothing. Eventually I started to feel somewhat safe. Maybe the hunters had moved on to find more prey in other places, because I had seen nothing so far. But I was a LITTLE on edge. Since I could feel the burning of a pair of eyes in the back of my neck as though someone was watching me. I sighed and hoped it was just a common infected or an animal of some kind as I jumped from brick to brick on a brick wall I was climbing.

I dug my claws into the bark of the tree I was sitting on. I was watching a human attempting to jump from a brick wall to the stairs a few feet from the wall. Pft. Idiot. You forgot to wrap tape on your arms and legs to prevent wind resistance. I watched the air snag their hoodie back and cause them to fall in between the wall and the stairs. It was hard to not laugh at such stupidity. I must stay still and quite if I were to succeed in killing this pathetic being.
I wonder if Vince or Indigo had finished patrolling the west side of the beach. Maybe they found something too. God knows with Vince and Indigo anymore.
The human had climbed the wall again. It was hard to watch them fall once more trying to jump. You'd think they would have figured out about the wind resistance by now. But noooo. They continued to try and jump and every time they failed.
Suddenly, I noticed the human get frustrated and kick the wall, hurting their own foot in the process. I couldn't help but let out a yelp of laughter. I covered my mouth being mindful of my claws as I watched the human whip around at the sound. I saw them jump off the wall and grab their bag, ready to leave. They looked around, uneasy. They walked past the tree. Now.
I leaped out with a loud screech and expected to land on them and be able to instantly start tearing into them with my sharp claws, but instead I was met with a sharp painful blow to the side of my head, knocking me off balance. I yelped but managed to get back on track and land on the ground with a roll. I stare at the survivor. They were holding a pink bloodstained bat with a large smirk on their face.
I growled and backed up. I had to figure out a strategy. And fast. I thought for a moment before I dashed at their legs. They tried to hit me again but missed as I crashed into their legs and caused them to fall over like a stack of blocks.
They let out a loud yell and grabbed some sort of multi tool and flicked out the knife part of it. Then stabbed it into my shoulder. I yowled out in agony and leaped back once more.
They got up and grabbed their bat. They struck me in the back with force. I yelped and leaped out of the way.
I growled and stared back at them. I let out a final growl and ran off.
They may have won this battle. But I'll be back.

" AND STAY BACK YOU SCRAWNY LITTLE BITCH!! " I yelled after the hunter as it ran off. Back to whatever hell it came back from. Once it was out of sight, I packed up. That's enough bullshit for today.
The rest of the way home I was bashing in common infected heads. I actually saw a boomer on my way home. I made quick work of it as I shot it in the stomach a few times from afar and it exploded. Defeated TWO special infected today. Fun. I skipped along until I got home. Once I had gotten home, I put the soda in the fridge and grabbed a colder soda. I laid back on my bed and drank the soda. God damn that was a close call. I pulled up my pant leg and noticed a few large scratches from the hunters needle sharp claws. I quickly grabbed some disinfectant from my backpack and applied it to the wound, wincing from the small sharp pains in the leg as I rubbed the disinfectant into the wound. I then took put some bandages and started wrapping up the scratch marks. As I wrapped up my leg, I thought for a moment. What a close call... It was also odd that the infected quickly ran off after the attack.. Did hunters still have something that told them to run away after an attack? Huh. Didn't know those worthless piles of rotten flesh still HAD feelings.
I had finished wrapping up my leg, so I laid it down on my bed and looked at my phone.
It was only 10:06 in the morning?? Ugh. Guess I must go on another fun little adventure. This time, I'll stay away from the beach. I grabbed the map and marked the beach in blue.
Blue meant hunter territory.
