The Scene opens up with Recker on the USS Valkyrie.
Recker: (Narration) The toll of the war, has taken many lives, we almost lost Team RWBY. Either way I would put my life before others when I could save everyone.
It cuts to a 19 year old Marine who is looking for Recker, and he is nicknamed Cowboy. His name is Corporal Lee Imlay.

This is Imlay in the Photo, oh and Nantz will be labelled Mike, while Michael Connors is labelled from his first name.

mlay: I'm looking for Sergeant Daniel Recker, is he here?
Marine: He's at the Deck, outside where the Helos are lifting off.
Imlay: Yeah thanks, but where the F*** am I and my guys are in?
Ruby: You must be Lee Imlay.
Imlay: Who said my Name?
Ruby: Technical Sergeant Ruby Rose, Team RWBY or basically RWBY Squad. You lookin' for Reck?
Imlay: Yup, where is the Deck though?
Ruby: Just go up.
Recker is leaving the Deck and goes to the Medical room on the ship and he comes across Imlay on the Vehicle area.
Recker: Hey Imlay!
Imlay: Huh?
He doesn't find the Marine but Recker used his Semblance to get behind him.
Recker: (Quietly) Hey.
Imlay: AH!
Recker: Hahaha! Sorry Cowboy.
Imlay: You Just scared the S*** out of me. I nearly pissed my pants.
Recker: Where's Mike?
Imlay: Probably with Elena, or Lockett.
Recker: Looks like Air Force just got on the ship.
The Scene changes to a 20 Year old Marine Staff Sergeant, being Michael "Mike" Nantz, who is talking with Yang.
Mike: So you're Yang Xiao-Long right?
Yang nods as a yes.
Yang: So Recker is who you're looking for?
Mike: Yes.
Yang: He's here already.
Mike: Wait what?
Recker: Hey Mike!
Recker now uses his Semblance and Nantz could not catch him when he tried to spot him.
