8 | sneaking out

it wasnt the first time hongjoong was sneaking out, but he was still nervours, his father was already mad and this definitely wouldnt make him any less mad, but hongjoong needed to see seonghwa, he missed him already and the way he left him, wasnt fair at all, seonghwa had the previous night confessed to hongjoong, and hongjoong hadnt spoked a word about it, and avoided seonghwa at all cost, that wasnt fair, at all and he was gonna make up for it now.

he found his way to seonghwas house, he hadnt been there before but he had followed seonghwa home once, and remembered the way pretty easily, it wasnt that long from hongjoongs house, but definitely not close either.

when he was finally standing out infront of seonghwas house, thoughts started flooding into his mind, what if he asked about yesterday? what if he's mad at you? when are you gonna go home? it kept going and hobgjoong almost wanted to scream, he didnt care, he just wanted to see seonghwa and apologise, then he would leave again if he wanted him to.

knock knock he had knocked on the door, waiting awkwardly for it to be opened. when it did open, seonghwa was standing infront of him, he wasnt wearing nice clothes like he usually would, he was just wearing sweatpants with a black tee, while his hair was still slightly wet, from what hongjoong supposed would've been a shower he had after he got home.

to hongjoong he looked very attractive and he almost had to stop himself from staring.

"hi joong, come in" he said with a soft smile plastered on his face, opening the door for the small boy to walk in, and so he did. he looked around in the house, it looked nice, it wasnt messy but not too clean either and hongjoong loved the way his house looked, he had a few plants standing around and the overall aesthetic was very pleasent.

"i-i" hongjoong started, not knowing why he was stuttering, he usually werent ever nervours around seonghwa. "I like your house.. looks nice" he mumbled, and seonghwa just chuckled at that.

"what's up with you?" he asked and looked at hongjoong, searching an answer, since he had been curious since they had woke up and hongjoong just had left.

"n-nothing, im sorry hwa, im sorry ive been acting off today im so st-" seonghwa stopped him mid sentence by pecking his lips, leaving hongjoong with a confused look on his face and a blush spread over his cheeks

"w-what?" he mumbled and seonghwa shrugged "i had to stop you before you finished that sentence" he said and hongjoong just stayed quiet, the silence between them growing very awkward

"i-i just came here to apologise so i guess i should go again" hongjoong mumbled just loud enough for seonghwa to hear and quickly stopping hongjoong on his way out.

"but you just came, stay a little" he mumbled and pulled hongjoong away from the door, "ill make you some food, you seem hungry" he said and left to the kitchen, hongjoong following right behind, he couldn't lie, he was really hungry, it wasnt like his father had any skill in making food.

seonghwa couldnt have hongjoong leave just yet when he just got here, and the way hongjoong had texted him. seonghwa knew that he needed him right now.

he placed the food on the table in front of hongjoong and hongjoong immediately started eating.

"thank you hwa.. it was very good" he mumbled and patted his stomach after pushing his plate away from him, seonghwa chuckled and took the plate, placing it in the sink.

hongjoong got off his chair and went over to seonghwa, hugging him from behind softly.

seonghwa turned around to hug the small boy back, patting his back softly

hongjoong felt the need to be extra close to the boy, he needed to do it while he still could.
