Rainy days

Just rain

[HELLO EVERYONE THANK YOU FOR BEING PATIENT AND SENDING NICE COMMENTS IT MEANS A LOT, I'll try making more chapters since I have a few ideas ! Also I hope you listen to the song I put up it reminds me of Finney and his mom]

Finney's POV:

As I watch the rain gradually become heavier I tried my hardest not to pay attention or show an unpleasant expression but it was quite hard trying not to remember that day, I start cutting the veggies a bit slower and try focusing those around me.

3rd pov:

Everyone had finished helping Mrs. Showalter and started heading out the kitchen and sat down on the floor of the living room since there wasn't much space on the couch anymore, those who already watching the tv greeted the others joining in.

Everyone sat and watched some cartoons till Mr. Showalter asked Billy to go and walk his dog 「Mimi」Billy asked everyone if they wanted to go with him which everyone agreed except for Finney, Billy looked at Finney and smiled said "No need to worry Finney I have a lot of rain coats so why don't you join?" Finney looked at bit nervous and thought to himself what if I say no? Will they think in a scaredy cat or something..? Finney agreed to come since he didn't want to lose his newly found friends which made everyone cheer and start walking towards the closest which so only Finney joined in seeing billing passing rain coats to everyone.

After everyone put on there raincoat Billy also then added a rain coat to his dog with some shoes which made Bruce take a quick picture, soon after Billy put a leash on his dog worrying that she'll get lost in the rain since it'll be a bit foggy and dark.

Finney's POV:

I see everyone start putting there shoes on which I also then did but soon after I did the door swung open and everyone started walking out which I started getting a bit nervous so I slowly stepped out and I saw everyone a bit far from the house already I wanted to back down but I didn't want anyone thinking I just wasted Billy's time of taking the coat out, as I stare at the rain trying to bring in some courage to catch up with all of them till I feel a persons hand on my shoulder from behind me, I turn around and see Robin smiling at me. I gasped and quickly blurted out "Ah! I'm sorry was I in your way?!?" Robin started laughing and told me "no no I was just waiting for you since you seemed at bit distracted and I didn't want you getting lost since I've walked with Billy's dog a lot so I know where he brings his dog Mimi!" I was quite relieved that Robin was here but he then blurted out "hey, so you've been standing here for like 5 mins is there something wrong?" He scratched the back of his neck and looked to the side I had the urge to tell him everything but I just said "I..I'm not a fan of the rain as much." He looked at me and gave me a weak smile probably seeing my sadden expression but he then took his hand out and grabbed mine and said "well.. if you want we can hold hands?" I was taken aback but I agreed and held his hand.

Robins POV:

I see Finney hold onto my hand looking nervous so I tried a different hand position and intertwined his and mines hands he looked shocked and turned a light shade of pink, I felt my face also get hot and I stepped into the rain which he followed but he stopped and I saw him bite his lip and close his eyes I grasp onto his hand a bit tighter to show that I'm with him which he caught on and slowly opened his eyes and giving me the same grasp and so we started walking towards the group which they just started talking, I hope they didn't notice we were holding hands so I tried hiding it behind me and Finns back.

I could feel Finney's grasp get a bit harder and so glanced over at him as me and him follow behind the group I could see his face looking down to his shoes as if he was avoiding someone gaze but he quickly turned his head to me and smiled which I smiled back.

Finney's POV:

This was the first time I've gone into the rain without panicking as much, every time I felt my thoughts go berserk I felt Robin squeeze my hand a little which made my unwanted thoughts  minimize which made me smile but after a few mins of walking I could hear a distorted voice calling my name and so I fwip my head up and started looking around which I by chance glance over the forest I could see a familiar figure  waving to me which I gradually started stopping which made Robin also start stopping.

Robin's POV:

I felt Finn's hand start loosening and I also see him slowing down his pace staring at the forest near him which soon got the whole groups attention and also started stopping staring at Finney which Griffin spoke up "Hey? Finney you okay?" But it seemed as if Finn didn't hear a thing I then let go if his hand and grabbed his shoulder which made him turn around to face me and I felt as if I was looking at a different person, Finn seemed so out of it he then pointed to the woods and said "Robin I can see my mom there!" I felt my heart jump since it quite odd that someone is in the woods without reason so I grab my phone and text Gwen asking her "Gwen! Is your mom in the woods right now or something?!" I then see Finney start running in the woods without warning.
