3rd pov:
Finney had been sitting in a car with his sister listening to their father Terrance speaking about unimportant matter which slowly became muffled sounds in Finney's ears as he looked out the window analyzing the houses when suddenly the car hit the break in a drive way, Finney and his sister Gwen had jumped out the car quickly grabbing their boxes that had their names on it and walked into the new house to their rooms.
Finney's pov:
as I enter my new room I quickly analyze the room and then I opened the boxes taking a few posters and clothes out than slowly putting the clothes in a closet near my bed trying to organize it so it doesn't get any wrinkles on it and as I finished handing my last sweater I than started taping my music and movie posters on my wall I suddenly heard my door swung open and I quickly turn around seeing my father Terrance pushing two shelves in my room putting them near my door and suddenly walking away right after, I take out a collection of books I've had in another set of boxes I've brung in and after 10-15 minutes I've finished adding books and other decorations on my shelf I decided to take a quick nap on my bed.
Time skip to Noon~
3rd pov:
Finney woken up to the sound of sobbing near his bed and so his eyes fluttered open seeing his sister Gwen crying in on the corners of his room near his bed he jumps and and runs towards her asking her "Gwen?!? What happened what's wrong??" Finney said trying not to be to loud just in case his father was drunk or in a bad mood. Gwen looked up at Finney with her puffy red eyes and started crying even more and started speaking lowly "Finney I didn't mean to upset daddy.. I-I just wanted to know what really happened to mom." Finney felt sick for a moment due to remembering a certain memory of their mother.
Finney asked Gwen what Terrence did Gwen looked at Finney then at the floor and replied that he hit her with a belt..Finney but his bottom lip and grabbed Gwen's hand and walked to her room avoiding Terrance as soon as possible, Finney waited till Gwen fell asleep and left soon after turning off her lights and shutting her door.
After Finney shut Gwen's door he walked back to his room and decided to head back to bed since he wanted to walk around the town tomorrow morning due it being Saturday.
Finney's Pov:
I wake up to my alarm so I shut it by smacking my snooze button and I get up and started putting a red turtleneck with jeans, after I put some clothes on I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth then fixed my hair. As I walk out the bathroom I see Gwen eating cereal still in her pajamas I smiled and told her a good morning she looked at me and asked me where I was going at 8 am in the morning, I smiled again and told her I was gonna walk around the area she looked excited and asked me if she could come and I told her yes due to me not wanting her being alone with Terrance due to what happened yesterday.
As I walk out the front door with Gwen I heard a dog bark and suddenly I was hit by a rolled up paper which soon after hit the ground after it hit my face, Gwen started laughing as I started rubbing my face I then hear someone run up towards me and asked if I was okay and I glanced over at them and replied with a yes then a small chuckle I analyzed the person they had a red jacket on and his hair was kinda long with his hair moved to the left I also noticed a dog. The boy introduced himself and said his name was Billy showalter I then replied "nice to meet you Billy my names Finney Blake and this is my sister Gwen Blake." Billy smiled and said he had to continue his job so he'll see Finney around.
Time skip to midnight~
3rd pov:
Gwen and Finney were hanging out in Finney's room and suddenly heard glass breaking Gwen jumped up and Finney stood up to check what it was and as he peeked his head out Terrance glanced over at Finney and told Finney to come over to him, Finney felt nervous since he knew his father is a big asshole when drunk and as soon as Finney was face to face with Terrence, Terrance raised his hand and smacked Finney causing a loud thud which made Gwen slowly peek out she stayed behind worried watching as Terrance yelled at Finney for no apparent reason and after the yelling Finney ran to his room and his under the covers and told Gwen she could sleep in the room with him.
