The woman who took their photo was older, maybe about 22.

James snapped out of his own world and soaked in the reality of the past five minutes.

His eyes widened when he came to terms, and shoved away Hayden who stood awfully close.

James yelled profanities, and people in the halls started to turn their heads to the commotion. Even Hayden seemed shocked that a man's voice could be so high-pitched.

The woman holding the camera looked dumbfounded, as with everyone in the area except Hayden. Hayden only smirked.

James couldn't believe everything that had happened. He was more worried about the fact that he enjoyed it. And worst of all, the tragic stories that will spread around within the next few hours.

He wanted to avoid socializing as much as possible, and now that would be impossible thanks to this guy.

Hayden smirked, and James wondered if that was always apparent on his face. With Hayden's smug look, James almost couldn't resist staring at his perfect jawline and imagine certainly unholy things.

"No!" James internally corrected himself. He shook his head and stealthily moved away from the situation before it got even more intense.

"Astronomy!" James exclaimed. It was his favorite subject, of course.

He entered the classroom and found it was surprisingly large. Irregularly large tables were scattered across the room, along with comfortable looking spinning chairs with dark green fabric. There was a podium at the front of the classroom with a large mahogany desk to the left.

James stared in awe and moved to sit down. He chose a spot in the back right, satisfying his introverted character.

The classroom quickly filled up with other students which all seemed older than himself.

Clad in a black leather jacket and loose black jeans, a man named Zeke proceeded to seat himself next to James, in which James internally groaned.

James repeated the words in his head like a disease: "Don't talk to me, don't talk to me."

"Hi!" Zeke exclaimed. James gave no reply.

Zeke frowned slightly by his reaction and held his hand out for James to shake.

"Zeke Daniels," he said.

"James Harper," James said sourly while shaking his hand.

Zeke stared at James blankly, a look that James could not identify.

James wished nothing more than to crawl into a hole and stay there.

The situation got ten times worse when Hayden walked in. He shot Zeke a glare, which James simply shrugged off, choosing not to question it.

Zeke noticed this and slung his arm around James' shoulder.

James could only whisper-yell: "What the fuck?" and scanned his eyes around the room, looking for an answer.
