It's been two days since Goken and Stella started their survival training. And they were doing good so far...until the current predicament they're in showed up looking for a snack.
The two kids pumped their arms as they ran as fast as their little legs could carry them. It was then that Goken saw a small cave ahead of them.
Goken: Go right!
The two of them made a hard right and as soon as they did the dinosaur chomped down on the spot they once were. It looks towards the direction the ran and continued to chase them. It's jaws getting closer to them which made Goken grab his tail and yank it away from it's mouth. It was close but the two of them managed to lunge into the cave. This in turn makes their pursuer smash his head against the wall outside. The two were panting heavily as they tried to catch their breaths. The dinosaur looks inside the cave and slammed it's mouth repeatedly trying to tear the cave open to get it's meal. The two them pointed and started laughing at him as he stomps away furious.
Once he was gone the kids breathe a huge breath of relief. After waiting a few minutes Goken slowly stuck his head out the cave. He looks around to see if the coast is clear, and after a few seconds he gestures to Stella. The two leave out the cave and sigh plopped down on the ground.
Stella: Man! It's only been two days and already everything is trying to kill us.
Goken: Yeah, at this rate we might live to see the next three months.
Grumble
Goken looks down at his stomach as did Stella, she looked back up at him.
Stella: (smirks) Guess you're hungry, huh?
Goken: (frowns, turns away) I'm fine.
Stella: (sighs, stands up) Alright, i'll look for some food. You could help you know.
Goken was still facing away from her and didn't answer her. Stella lets out an annoyed groan and walked off to find food.
Timeskip Night time
It shows the two of them back inside the cave with a fire going. It shows Stella chowing down on the fish she and Goken caught. But Goken was just staring into the fire not eating his fish. He watched as the flames danced and crackled in the silence of the cave. Within the flames he starts to see images as a certain event plays out. Quash standing over an unconscious Gohan prepared to kill him and Chichi flying towards him trying stop him. Quash turning and firing a beam straight through Chichi's chest. Her body hitting the ground and laying there motionless. Goken pupils dilated as if his soul had just left his body. He just keeps staring into the crackling flame.
CLAP!
The light returned to his eyes as he was jolted out of his mindset. He looked up and saw Stella with her hands out in front of him. She clapped her hands together to snap him out of it. Unfortunately though this makes Goken frown in annoyance.
