Black pearl x Reader comfort

Y/N POV:

I swam around the dusk gloom sea happily with a few fish and patting them as if they were my pets. It was a nice day actually even though the water in the dusk gloom sea looks dark and lifeless. My beloved, Black pearl actually gave in to me asking to swim a bit farther this time! Though something about her tone worried me.

'Don't swim out too far, you'll know once the lighting of the sea changes.'

How odd. Even though I already swam for miles out of the dusk gloom sea and nothing bad had happened. The ocean looked so beautiful and so clear you could even see your reflection in it. The fish swam around my waist, urging me to swim around the new found area with them. I accepted of course and swam with them again. We'd eventually find coral and the little fish placed some in my hair along with a few shells, it was sweet of them. Soon we swam back up to the surface and heard a really loud noise that sounded like a whale. We followed the noise and managed to find a boat, hey black pearl has one too! I placed my self on a near by rock to see what was going on in the boat.

A captain giving out orders while the crew hurries to fix the sail and get back the anchor. (No it's not caviar lol-) I decided to leave after awhile not until I heard something. "A SIREN!" One sailor yelled while pointing at me. Crap. I saw them get spears and nets, then they started throwing. One net caught my tail while the others missed, I was busy trying to untangle myself until I felt something harp graze my arm. It was one of the spears, it left a mark on my right arm. I desperately went into the sea and hid behind the rock I sat on. How could they treat sea life and even innocent mermaids like this? I softly weeped and sang a bit to distract from my pain. (You can play the video now :>) the sailors thought again I was trying to kill them but I wasn't.. I wish they just left me alone.

"LEAVE THEM ALONE!!"

Someone roared with rage. I immediately knew who it was and felt relief that she has come to protect me. Black pearl angrily threw her trident, hitting the side of the boat and going threw the whole thing. It started raining heavily along with loud thunder, the waves got even harsher as well. I just watched the whole thing unveil as I held the fish close. Black pearl then made a massive wave that engulfed the boat. The rain stopped and the waves were calmer now, there was no trace of the ship left. I heard her pant as she grabbed her trident again and turned over to me.

"What were you thinking!?!" She yelled "I strictly told you not to swim out the damn sea!! And look what happened! You almost got killed if it weren't for me!!!" I felt tears welled up in my eyes again and looked down, a few of the fish were tugging on the net. Trying to set me free. A loud sigh escaped her lips as she carefully pat my head with her finger. "I'm sorry y/n. I just worry a lot about your safety. You know those stupid cookies don't happily welcome mermaids or sea life." I nodded a bit and looked up at her. "I know. I just wanted to see what cookies did, I was just curious" she scooped me into the palm of her hand and lifted me up close to her face. "I know you mean well but please be careful. I don't know what I'd do with myself if you were killed by those soggy wastes of dough." I placed a small kiss on her cheek, somehow I managed to fluster her a bit.

She then manhandled me for a bit as if I was a doll but she was just trying to check if I had anymore injuries. "Look at what they've done to you.. my poor innocent jewel." She then gasped once she saw my arm that had the scar. "Those fucking idiots at the republic will pay for what they did to you." She grumbled while untangling me from the net. She tossed it far from here with all her strength, she then looked down at the fish who waited for me patently. "Get some sea weed will you. Y/n's arm is bleeding" they quickly swam to get some. "I'll be alright Black pearl, it's just a little gash" she scoffed and caressed me in her hand carefully. "I don't care if it even was a  slight paper cut, they'll be dead in an instant before they could even dare to lay a finger on you." A smile formed on my lips as I put my arms on her face trying to hug the massive yet beautiful women. "I love you so much my beloved pearl, your much more beautiful that those regular pearls" she blushed and held me close. After the fish come back and wrap the sea weed around my arm we started to head back home to the dusk gloom sea. "Can we eat some shrimp for dinner?" I asked. "Of course my jewel, anything for you by the way you sing beautifully." I blushed in embarrassment "you heard me?" She smirked "Of course I did, I heard you little woes of pain. How else did you think I knew where to find you?"

~ meanwhile at the republic ~

"WHAT THE FUCK!?!" Caviar yelled. The net Black pearl flung across the sea that was tangled around you, actually managed to hit the republic's harbor and knocked out a ship along with a few cookies.
