Chapter 9: Uncovering his "secret"

[Outside of Favonius HQ]

"Hmmm. Looks like it's time" kaeya said smiling at himself "Say... Where are those three?"

At the right corner of his ear, he heard an array of footsteps, very distinct onces...

"Kaeya!" A voice called out. The blue haired knight look to the right seeing the three arriving

"Well hello compadre and comadres, so ready to go to the exchange?" He said

"You bet!, Oh boy oh boy!, That treasure is so close, paimon just can just FEEL IT!" Paimon excitedly said. A hint guilt felt within kaeya when he witness his friend's enthusiasm.

"So kaeya, are you going to guide us there?" Lumine asked.

"Unfortunately, I have another batch of businesses to attend. But all you guys have to know is head to the whispering woods, and meet the messenger" kaeya answered

The trio nodded, though disappointed that he couldn't come along with them. They then walk off or for paimon fly off, to the location where the apparent exchange will be held

Kaeya look at them, on their way, with only one thought "Surely they won't be that mad and disappointed... Right?"

The group exited the city, crossing the bridge they turned to the left path and headed north

While on their way. Boboiboy found it suspicions how kaeya seems to always be 'busy' in the most inconvenient times, sure it was only twice it was still odd, odd enough for him to conclude his previous suspicion. While paimon was getting impatient with the constant prolonging of this mission, which is the usual for her personality

The group then stop at the path, Infront of an entrance of a fence forest

"So... Where do we go now?" Boboiboy asked

"Hmmm, I guess continue on inside?" lumine replied

Before they could continue their path. Frantic foots steps, getting louder every second, they were puzzled of the sound until they saw a girl getting chase by three club hilichurls bursting out of the forest and running past them

Without a second thought, boboiboy bolted it "Ill handle this"

One was directly behind, raising it's clubs it was about to strike. Then boboiboy grabbed it by the left side of head and pushing into the ground, pinning it down. This immediately got the attention of the other two, and immediately rush at him. Boboiboy look at them and throw the hilichurl he pinning down at them with full force, though he only manage to hit one killing both, as the other dodge it in time. Before it could breath in relief, boboiboy dashed and punch it directly in the face cracking it's mask, sending into a breath, bursting into a puff of smoke on impact

"Light work" boboiboy cracked his fingers. Then him and the other two walk towards the girl was being chased, looking down and puting her hands on her knees in exhaustion.

"Hello there" boboiboy said. The girl look at up at him

"Oh!, I didn't expect the one who fend off stormterror to save me, thank you alot by the way. Also have you three seen kaeya around?, We have some.... Um 'business' to share" she asked trying to hide the reason she's here, not knowing that their here for the Intel.

"business you say?...." Boboiboy thought of she meant, and then it clicked "Wait!, Are you the one who the black market to exchange Intel?"

The girl was caught off guard by this, she didn't know if she be afraid that they know, or 'attempt' to fight back and silence them. She immediately rejected the second idea for obvious reasons
