Meeting Jean today at the tavern was not what the three expected nor wanted. When they exited out and headed behind the city. Paimon begun to berate diluc on snitching on them until the headmaster encourage her to let him off, though she was gentle paimon felt her spine still shiver from the paranoia of what penalty awaits them- to wish jean affirmed that they won't be getting any after diluc disclosed what he knew from last night

All she wanted now was a further explanation. Starting with the honorary knight herself. "Lumine."

Venti wasn't here yet and jean entrusted her the most to explain. "Sorry jean for not informing you of this."

"I'm still mad that you, by the way!" Paimon leered at the redhead who tapped his vision as a threat. Shutting her up.

"Nice get up, diluc." Atheer couldn't help but compliment at the tavern owner's pristine yet grungy look, it wasn't too guady, the open suit was brown with furred trims and an undershirt contrasting greatly with the bronze accents. His vision, now clear as day shined hanging belt and sash.

He nodded at his compliment, trying to hide the smile at corner of his lip.

"How can you trust this 'Venti'?" Asked jean. Their logic about the lyre's purification properties were clear and sound, but from how they received or, from a bard who from diluc, is quite the fast hand in stealing made her doubt.

"I'll say we should meet him." Diluc said. "Back at angel's share." He expected the bard to be there drinking all the way and would rather not make him waste all the wine.

Especially today- a week before a client was paying a hefty some for a spot upstairs for a relatives birthday- He'd rather not disappoint, that's never good for business.

When they begun to walk back, like earlier the denizens looked at jean with reverence and respect. When they saw her walking by or near them the people stray away quickly after bowing in respect.

The others didn't take note, they were used to by now but atheer's saw this first hand at the moment. Watching jean wave back at some kids, who he recognised as the twins- Damian and gloria- Who recognised him back and waved before they were taking their parents at thr wrist.

"Jean." He said. "After this whole dvalin thing. . . What will you do?".

"Work." She answered honest, something atheer admittedly didn't want to hear, though he won't say it out loud.

"You could take a break? Like how most of Mondstadt did yesterday?"

Jean slowed her pace and looked back. "Perhaps, but at a later. I could have gotten in too when I did the announcement yesterday."

"I see." He sighed. "Just. . . Take it easy jean."

"I will. . . ." Though with how well she kept his composure, her eyes told a different side that atheer wants to try prying but fears that he might be getting to personal.

"Boboiboy. " She called him by his nickname. "Thank you for everything."

"For what?" Atheer didn't want to sound oblivious but with things turned out he didn't expect that reaction.

Jean cooed amused. "I know you can't really see it but you've done alot of good."

"And bad." He replied. "I feel like you are being too considerate of me, jean."

"Perhaps." She admitted. "But all I see is a man trying to do the right thing, and even if he fails, that won't stop him."

Her words made atheer temporarily halt his tracks, looking briefly at his satchel- The twinkling sounds of the fragments signalled him of their importance. They were going to be his gift to the people of this world. The wolf incident made him doubtful to his own intent.
