nick chris matt and i all went to our friends party and i was very anxious so i started drinking. i have always had a massive crush on chris but he never liked me back. i was drunk out of my mind, it was bad.
"chris come here" i yelled out he came over to me and grabbed my arm and walked me out side
"y/n you are to drunk i'm walking you home."
"chris you're considering of me, that's one of the reasons i like you." i told him
"aww you're so sweet y/n"
"no chris i like like you"
his face was blank
"sober up y/n"
why would i lie it was so clear i was in love with him.
1 week later
"chris come here" this was the first time i had talked to him after that night"
"yea y/n" he said and sat down
"i'm sorry about last week at the party but in all fairness i do like you"
"there is no need to apologize but i kinda have feelings for someone else."
"chris i've been inlove with since sophomore year i've waited if i waited longer would that maybe help?"
" patience won't change how i feel for you"
i could feel my heart crash into my stomach and break into a million pieces.
so i'll stop being pretentious and loathing our friendship chris taught me a lesson that love isn't precious it's not like the novels no pride and prejudice. so i'll just take a footnote in his life and he can take my body. every line i would write for him, but a footnote would do.

chris and i went to our favorite restaurant the host we said we were cute they thought we were a couple they bought us some... pepsi we shared our fries and laugh cause it's true (to me)
i would've been embarrassed if i wasn't pleased that everyone else saw what he never saw. we were perfect together but i'll never be the one.
so i'll stop being pretentious and loathing our friendship he taught me a lesson that feeling are reckless it's just like the novels side characters end up alone. so i'll just take a footnote in his life and he can take my body. every line i would write for him but a footnote would do.
