Comfort has become extinct

It's been a week since Raven brought me and the royal dual here. She'd come in to relax, cuddle and rest. Then she leaves for about 20-30 minutes. Each time she comes she spends like at least an hour w/ us.

"I'm back!" Raven chirps happily. I wave. I stop speaking much since I don't see my friends and Goliath anymore. I mean there isn't much to say. So Raven hasn't been upset about me not talking much.

"Um mistress..?" Blossom starts hesitantly.

"Hmm?" Raven responds.

"C- can we g- g- get our c- ch- chains off?" Blossom asks carefully.

"Question. If I do allow you to move around in here freely. What will you do?" Raven asks. This confuses them and me. "Would you 2 be good girls and mind your own business or will you keep bothering Buttercup?" She elaborates.

"We won't eavesdrop on her anymore." Rose says quietly. Raven cocks an eyebrow.

"You guys can get 20 minutes to free roam. But only when I'm here!" She states. They're happy but also want to ask why only 20 minutes. Raven catching this says, "You guys have learnt a part of your lesson so you can get a small reward." They nod at that and drop it.

"Why?" I say. Shocking the 3 in the room w/ me.

"Why I reward them?" Raven asks confused.

"No why do they call you mistress. I just say you're name. Also they seem more scared of you than I do." I state.

"Oh! Well they surrendered to me in battle but they wouldn't stop causing troubles so that they could try to take back control by having me willing give it up. So I gave them a punishment. This lasted a while. And since I wanted to make sure they understood who was in charge. I had them call me mistress." She explains. This made me fear what she might do to me if I cross a line. Accidentally or purposefully.

"Uh oh. T- thank you for ex- explaining. Ma'am." I say trying to prevent from saying anything that would set her off. She looks upset suddenly. I start to panic at that.

"Why did you call me ma'am?" She asks. The other 2 look curious too.

"Because I don't want to set you off for saying something wrong. All due respect but I'm not trying anytime soon to find out what you do for punishments." I say. After this she looked at me intensely. She came closer and I tensed.

"Come on. We're heading to bed." She says pulling me along. The 2 royals immediately moved in closer. They wrap around me and they begin to fall asleep.

'How did I get myself into this mess!??'
