Chapter 14- the date (3/3)

'Huh can't wait to meet her' I thought "(y/n)!" Steve yelled "..yes" I said "so what was the letter about?" He said "yeah what did it say?" Hunter said trying to peek "n-Nothing!" I say crumpling up the note and shoving it into my pocket "okay well me and (y/n) have to get going now!" Hunter said grabbing my hand "hey Steve before we go when will you be out of the hospital?" I ask "like in 2 days" he said "so you will be back in time for the return party?" I ask "yep I'm actually going to be one of the guards there!" He says looking proud "okay we have to get going." Hunter said annoyed  'is He jealous again?' I thought to myself as we walk out of the door

As we walked out of the hospital hunter asked "so we can go on our first date now?"... "sure" I say" grabbing his hand tighter "so we're do you want to go?" I ask "I heard some people talking about there being a new movie coming out today!" He says "what is it called?"  "The nightmare before Christmas" "yeah sure we can go see it" I say

He grabbed my hand and we ran to the movies "2 tickets to see the nightmare before Christmas!" He said putting snails informs of the ticket booth owner "okay" he said counting the snails and giving us the tickets "HAVW a great movie..(mumbled) or not I could care less" he said as we walked in

(1.1/2 hours later)
"THAT WAS SO GOOD!" I say walking out popcorn bucket and drink still in arms "yeah I liked how sally and Jack kissed at the end in that snowy stump" Hunter said just having his drink in hand "my favorite is when Jack sang 'What's this?" "Wanna do something else? because we have like one hour left till we have to get back to the castle" Hunter said "hmm... maybe we can go back early and just talk" I say "*shoves popcorn in mouth* sure" hunter says "Hey! That was the rest of the popcorn!" I say as he threw the bucket away "sorry" he said not looking sorry at all

As we were walking back someone jumped i front of us by instinct (as hunter called it) he shoved me back and out his hands informs of me trying to...protect me from this person then I noticed it was....Amity and her mother Odalia her and her husband Alador has gave special events showing off there products so quote on quote "special people" I know this because surprisingly me and amity are friends even tho I'm not allowed to go to school but I secretly take bard coven lessons behind Ed's and kings back "please mr golden guard  hear me out on this project I swear you and empor Belos will love it!" Odalia begged hunter as me and amity gave each other a shared look it was like 😀 "I've told you before Odalia and I'll say it agin we have enough people make us projects." Hunter said while grabbing my hand and shoving her to the side as we walk to the castle halfway there hunter grabs his staff then sits on it and pats the spot next him, I hop on "you ready he says grabbing the base "yep" I say

(15 minutes later)
"We have arrived my dear guest" hunter said getting off his staff and bowing jokingly "why thank you golden guard" I say playing along with it getting off the staff "*laughs* sorry I can't keep this tog-" he said before we both started to laughing (5 minutes of laughing) "okay we better go inside before it starts to rain" I say pulling myself together as we run inside
As we get upstairs and lay down in his room when close the door there is a knock "yes" hunter says opening the door...it was Jane but she has blue hair now "hey y/n Darius wants to see you" "okay give me 5 minutes!" I say while getting up "I'll be back hunter" I say messing with his hair *hunter closes door* "do you know what he needed me for?" I say "he didn't say just you, me, and him need to talk"Jane said slightly smiling "how's your girlfriend?" I ask "..we broke up" they said slightly walking faster "I'm sorry" I say "it's fine she was a dick anyways even though she doesn't have one" they laughed while I snorted "how long are you staying here?" I ask after laughing "oh a week after the party's over" they say as we reach Darius's room and I knock "Come in." He says sounding annoyed as always
As we walk in he has 3 walkie-talkies spread out on Jane's bed "what do you need us for?" I ask "so i have a plan about the dance if you are okay with us doing it"he says getting up from laying down "it depends what it is"

I say "okay grab a Walkie-Talkie and we have to have a code word so we know it's happening" "hmmm how about 'abomination!'?" Jane says grabbing a Walkie-Talkie me and Darius both agree "okay have a good sleep y/n)" Darius said handing me a Walkie-Talkie "bye see you tomorrow!" I say walking out 

(Back at hunters room)
"What was that about?" Hunter asked "oh nothing" I say shoving the Walkie-Talkie into my pocket "okay?" I look at the time... 'HOW IS IT 8:30 ALREADY!?' I think "LIGHTS OUT IN 5 MINUTES!" I hear a guard yell "I better get back to my room" I say backing towards the door "yeah goodnight." 'What did they shove in there pocket!' I think really annoyed 'let's just sleep it off' i jump on my bed 'today was the first date did I do something wrong?' I think tearing up before falling asleep
