It was now or never, you just took down her Spiritomb and Milotic but Garchomp was out now and both Vox and Kimmie have either low health or have fainted
"DJ Grooves, use Waterfall!" You yelled with strength behind your voice. And with that a rush of water ruptured from the earth as DJ Grooves rides it as if he was on a surfboard. Garchomp took a big hit but withstood it.
"Garchomp, use Earthquake!" Cynthia shouted with muster. Her voice rang in your ears, as if she was right next to you whispering. A bit of red flushed your cheeks, but went unnoticed by you both. But such Butterfrees in your stomach soon dissipated as the ground opened under DJ Grooved and shook with chaos. Soon enough he fainted and you swapped in Snatcher
"Snatcher, use Tri-attack!" You stumbled on your words for a moment as you see Cynthia's absolute radiance. Snatcher still understood the command and zipped around Garchomp in a way that seemed unnatural but was normal for a Porygon-Z, soon enough three multi-colored orbs float in front of Snatcher as they fire them off, though none of the effects landing.
"Garchomp, use Brick Break!" Her voice boomed in the room, but it bounced in your head longer. Suddenly her Garchomp pierced the earth and lobed a large stone at Snatcher, it made contact but didn't take him out.
"Alright Snatcher, Tri-attack once again!" Your voice boomed across the walls as Snatcher formed the three orbs again and shot it, this time getting a freeze
"All right Snatcher! Use Hyperbeam now!" Snatcher charged up a lazer and shot it, the sound of it hitting Garchomp's frozen skin overpowered the piano music coming from the speakers. Suddenly Garchomp drops to the ground and returns to it's Pokeball
"Nice one, not many have been able to take out my Garchomp before!" She said calmly. Your cheeks suddenly heat up before she reaches for a ball and calls out: "Lucario! Use Aura Sphere!"
As soon as Lucario came out of it's ball a wispy blue ball of Aura is shot at Snatcher, knocking him out.
"All right then Budget, come on out and use Overheat!" Your Rotom in Heat mode came out and opened it's oven door, letting out an incredibly strong gust of flames, the heat of the flames rushed out and into her Lucario. It fell to it's knees, a critical hit combined with the Super effective damaged sealed the fate of Lucario.
A bit of flush came across her face her face as she said "Wow! I never expected this to happen, but it's not over yet, Darling!" You felt your face burning up as if it was the tail of a Charizard when she said Darling. "Now then Gastrodon, it's now or never!" She sent out her Gastrodon, bad news for you since all of Budget and Ponyo's moves were either not very effective or did no damage to it.
"Gastrodon, use Stone Edge!" Her voice banged against the walls of your head and the walls of the room. Pillars of glowing blue stone shot from the ground and struck Budget out of the air and onto the ground, they got knocked out and all you had left was Ponyo
"Okay then Ponyo, you can do this!" Despite your words you knew it wasn't true, your voice shook from both fear and stuttered from how fast your mind was racing. Ponyo came out and used Thunder on her own, not understanding you she had to act on her own. Unfortunately she didn't know any moves that did either good damage or damage at all.
"You're all out of luck Darling! Gastrodon, use Earthquake!" And like that the ground split open once more as Ponyo got stuck into it, once done you both could tell, you had lost
She walks up to you, probably to give the standard hand shake of pity, but she didn't. "Good job Y/N, you have it in you to become a champ like me some day!" She said so with a voice that could only speak the truth. "Though maybe some training would help with that, if you want you could swing by my house and we could train together." She offered her hand to you as she spoke
"Sure! That would be lovely." You spoke, beaming woth excitement of being invited to THE Cynthia's house
"Then it's a date!" She spoke as she registered you to her Pokétch
