I let out a tired yawn as I wake up and get up from bed. I turn on my phone to check the time: It was 7:30 in the morning on a Saturday. I notice a notification pop up on screen with text reading "Dad, me and Son activity day". What the hell is it talking a?!- and then I remember.... I'm also a Dad.... technically. I let out a tired sigh before breathing from my nostrils... And then it hits me.
The scent of something that could only be describe as amazing spices, mouthwatering just by scent alone and give the true comfort... of home. Only two words now come into mind with such a smell...... Dad's Cooking. I begin to drool at the sheer scent floods my nostrils which also seemed to cause Akane, Junior and Yamato to wake up from their slumber.
Akane: *rubs her eyes and lets out a tired yawn* * "Morning you three"
Me, Junior: *Junior was more tired tone than me* "Morning." *The four of us get out of bed. Me, Akane, Junior and Yamato walked of our room and see Dad was busy prepping some bowls of breakfast.
Dad: *looks over to me smiling as he slices up a large hunk of meat before topping onto the bowls without even looking* "Morning kids."
Me, Junior and Akane: "Morning Dad/Grandpa/ Ryujin-Sensei." *As we take our seat in front. Yamato walks up to him wagging his tail happily in front of his dog bowl.*
Y/n: *picks up two bowls of food and places them in front of Junior and Akane, before turning around and picking a massive bowl of the same food in front of me* "Order up!"

Akane: *looks at her bowl of food confused* "It looks good, but what is it?"

Y/n: *realizes something* "Oh!" *quickly grabs something wrapped up some thing wrapped in Banana Leaves before untying it, slicing up and placing a bunch of more meat into each of our bowls*
