I drive down in my regular old car to pick up Robby Ellie and Eli. They hop in, Robby infront like always "hey jerk" they say.
"Look under your seats" I say and start driving home. They take out there brand new laptops, with the new iPhones. "Holy shit" Robby says. "How did you get all this" he adds looking at me suspiciously. Eli, who is sitting behind me, hugs my neck half way chocking me saying "thank you" repeatedly. Ellie crawls onto the front seat hugging me. "How did you pay for all of this" Robby repeats. "I picked up an extra shift don't worry about it" I say and Ellie crawls back in her seat and they all stare at there phone in amazement. "Now who's ready to go to get health insurance and pay off grandma and grandpas debts" i say as I drive by the daycare getting liv and strapping her into her car seat. I get back into the car driving to the hospital. - After about an hour The kids and walk inside there rooms and they stare in amazement. They all got king sized beds, desks, cute lights, posters, pillows, blankets, etc. "YES" the kids yell and hug me quickly before running to there rooms flopping on there beds. Well all except Robby, he looks at me suspiciously again "tell me how the fuck you got this money" "HEY don't fucking cuss at me, ok I'm the adult here and ur gonna be grateful ok" I say and he quickly nods before running to his room sitting on his bed. Robby was always scared of me yelling because he knows that I would never ever yell at him. -
I got a text from Annie saying "come to Beth's. now" Annie never uses periods so I quickly call my brother lev, who is also my neighbor to come babysit the kids. I'm wearing my white lose cropped tank top with my white bra and my black ripped jeans with black worn down converse. - I pull up to Beth's and get out locking my car with my bag. I walk in "Bitch this better be good" I say and turn around after closing the door. I freeze when I see three guys, one with a neck tattoo who looked kinda hot, one with a beard and face tattoos.
Now in any situation I'm in like this the first thing I do is always look for an escape, what weapons they have, and any possible bad situation flashes threw my head. "Katie" I hear Annie say, I could tell she was trying not to cry. I look to my left and see beth Annie and ruby sitting in two chairs, Annie on the armrest Beth is sitting on.
"I knew there was a 4th one" the one with the neck tattoo says with a smile. "We didn't know you own the store" ruby says. Annie runs up to me grabbing my arm dragging me over to ruby and Beth clinging her arms onto my torso once she sits back down onto the arm rest making me lift my arms up a bit surprisingly.
"Do I look like some grocery store manager to you, what like rotary club or something nah let's just say we have a certain arrangements with local businesses" the one with the neck tattoo says walking closer to us "like money laundering for drugs" ruby chocked out.
" I told you shady" ruby says looking at us. "Ain't you stop worrying about my business deals and start figuring how u gonna pay me my money back" the guy says turning around and walk back before turning to look at us again "we can get it back" Beth says.
"Oh that would be great" "Most of it" Annie says her arms still wrapped around my torso. "Sorry what" the neck tattoo guy says. "Some of it for s-sure" Annie says the neck tattoo guy sighs.
"What like u guys didn't spend a dime" Annie says "how much Annie" Beth says. "I don't know like a- a hundred" she says, ruby looks forward slightly calming down before Annie adds "grand" making us look at her shocked. "What" Beth and ruby say. "I'm gonna shoot you myself" ruby says. "What, Katie spent some too" Annie defends.
"Nah you just gonna pay me back is all" the neck tattoo guy says walking forward to us a little while grabbing his gun off the counter. "I mean right quick too, with interest" he finishes the two guys starts walking towards us and Beth Annie and ruby gasp and Annie holds onto my torso harder. "So we'll see you real soon yea" the neck tatttoo one says and they all leave, not before the neck tatttoo guy says pointing his gun casually at us "you know you really got to be careful ladies, I mean with citress on marbel like lemon or what not that stuff lick roll like crazy" he finishes, I caught a glance at his hands and god damn they were hot.
I have a thing for hands it's weird I know. They leave. - The kids walk into there rooms seeing that there back to the way it was, with there twin beds and no desk, no cute posters, just back to the way it was. The kids sigh and look at me. I just kinda shrug with a smile a bit. "hey look at these nice ass beds" Robby says and jumps in his, I smile and soon all the kids jump on there beds and start doing there homework. I also had to get rid of the laptops, and the new iPhones, and the health insurance, so now the kids still have phones, an iPhone 8, which isn't bad at all but they don't have cellular. We use our neighbors Wi-Fi.
