Chapter 1: The Change

Y/n POV

"What a day," I lie on the bed while thinking about what to do now.

As I close my eyes a notification appeared on my phone. I got up and take it out of my pocket. After I open my phone, I check the notification and found out that a web novel I used to read had finally updated a new chapter. Feeling excited, I quickly click it and read it. It seems better overall, the grammar improves and I can understand it better.

"Cool! I bet this change gonna make the novel overall better."

After I finish reading the new chapter, I wonder if I should do something like this.

Before I can think more, I chose to sleep since it has been a tiring day.

A few moments later, I found myself awake in a good condition. I felt so refreshed. But the twist is, the moment I look outside the window, the world seems to have changed.

"Eh, am I still dreaming?" I ask myself. I slap my face and look outside again. "Doesn't seem like I'm dreaming."

Soon, the TV turns on by itself. Its first shows some black and white but eventually, a figure shows up. It got two small horns on its head and wears a straw garment. It kinda looks like a white goat but smaller with hands and kinda weird.

"Test test. Guess it worked. Oh, uh, hello there all human beings in this apartment. As you can see, your world has changed 180 degrees. Doesn't seem peaceful, right?" The creature giggled. He seems to be monitoring us through the CCTV and enjoying this.

"Well, to lessen the confusion. I guess I'll be explaining... Your privileged life has ended, now is the time for YOU to pay." The creature then looks like it's looking at a monitor.

"You think this is a joke? Might as well show you this!" The screen turns to a scene where people began killing each other.

"Oh, and by the way. I needed to kill some of you because there were too many people in the apartment." The creature said as the screen shows several people in their apartment room lying on the ground with blood.

The creature smiled like a psychopath after seeing the monitor monitoring us. Some of us must give it an interesting reaction and action.

"Anyways, your debt is piling up as we speak. Let's start with the main scenario." The creature flick its finger and its horn got longer.

Channel #BI-6912 has opened. The constellation is now making an entrance. At the same time, a game-like screen appeared in front of me.

A few minutes pass since the scenario begins. It seems to be peaceful. But, the peacefulness break as an announcement from the creature revealed that someone has started killing other people. I guess he purposely announces it to make the situation harder.
