Chapter 7: Another Devastating Day

{Y/n POV}

As you know, I'm probably feeling bored, so I decided to entertain myself by trying to dream, but instead it took a drastic turn and now I'm having a nightmare. I got and did some stretching so I have at least something to do.

Jihye, on the other hand, is playing with her sword. She's swinging it around like there's nobody literally IN FRONT of her. Hopefully, something happen, so I could use this 3D glasses I took from where you know. And...suddenly a notification came. 

[The Third Main Scenario is Activated.]

Soon, the whole station is filled with ground rats. It took a while for it to reach the part of the station in which I and Jihye reside. They ran around the station, rampaging and causing havoc. Though, they will not be able to do anything to anyone or anything in the green zone.

[The Scenario Penalty Has Been Applied!]

[Partial Green Zones In The Area Have Been Deactivated!]

I sighed in relief since the Green Zone that I and Jihye are residing in didn't got activated. If it did got activated, things are about to get stringy.

"How do you feel, Oppa?"

"Good. Why did you call me Oppa now?"

"I just realized that you're not from the same school as I am and is just older than me, therefore, I should call you Oppa." Jihye explained, from how it sounds, I could totally agree with her.

"But we're in the same party as Junghyeok's, and I'm the first person here, so doesn't that make me your Sunbae?"

"I mean...that's true?"

"Just call me however you want, it doesn't matter."

It truly doesn't matter, this world is an apocalypse after all. Monsters everywhere, doing these video game scenarios to survive, hell, we're even being watched by higher beings called Constellations. I truly hope we're not getting looked down on. Most of all, I'm not even supported by any constellation!

<Main Scenario #3 - Green Zone>

Difficulty: C
Clear Conditions: Occupy a green zone in the station and survive the monsters that emerge each night at midnight. This scenario will last for 7 days.
Duration: 8 hours
Rewards: 1000 coins
Penalty for Failure: -

[Third Day Complete.]

"Nice! The third day is complete!" I said.

"Why? Are you afraid that we might need to fight the monsters?"

"Kinda. I mean, it might be a tough fight and we're pretty much outnumbered even if we did fight those things."

"Hmmm... It's true, but doesn't that mean we got more action?"

"Right, do it yourself if you want to do it next time."

"Oh, come on." Jihye whined.

Personally, I find no joy in fighting monsters since it's either I die or they die, I also just felt bored of the monster I fought was braindead. There are things you should be wary about and things you should just let go. Those monsters are things you should just let go, especially when you're safe in the Green Zone.
