Waiting for Bells to get out of class wasn't so bad. I made it to the car without running into anyone. After all, no one else was out yet from class. Hopping into the car, I turn it on to run the heat. It's freezing.

Taking a deep breath, I decide to be the responsible student and pull out my homework. It doesn't take too long to knock out, and the most that I struggle with would have to be Chem. Stupid formulas and their oxygen always changing.

Closing my eyes, I put myself in the black space I created specifically for zoning out, but before I get real comfortable with nothing, I feel eyes on me once again. What is it with this town and staring at people?! Opening my eyes without moving my head, I scan the parking lot. Bingo.

The same girl from math class, but with someone else. A guy with blonde hair and ... a pained expression? There is no other way to describe it. Anyway, they seem to be having a very heated conversation, and the blonde guy does not look too happy about what the pixie cut has to say.

None of the business. I start to look away, but catch someone coming out of the school in a hurry. Someone who had way too much fun with his hair gel this morning. He falters a bit and looks in my direction, looking almost offended. Weird.

He makes it to the other people, and the first thing that I think is, of course they are related in some way. They are all absolutely gorgeous. After that passes through my heart, I can't help but stare at them.

They are very clearly talking, but they are almost whispering. There is no way they can hear each other over the drizzle if they are just whispering. It doesn't make any sense. Hair gel whipps around and stares me down for a solid five seconds. I look down just to avoid the intensity of his gaze, although I can still feel it burning into my skin. I refuse to look up, and eventually it goes away. I hear car doors being opened and closed.

Only then do I look up and see them start to drive off. That is when I make note that it is a very nice car. Like damn. I don't know a thing about cars, but I know that is one nice one.

After they are gone, I think about what I just witnessed. Where did the other girl from math go? I don't see any other nice cars in the parking lot that can begin to compare to the one that just drove away. And who are they? I didn't see any of the other people Pixie Cut was with before.

I must have been in my thoughts a lot longer than I realized, because the next thing I know, Bells is knocking on the window, and mouthing at me. I unlock the door, and she slides in.

"Ooh, nice and toasty in here."

"Mmm"

Bells looks over at me and just nods.

"Let's go home."
