Fire and Blood - Robb Stark

Rhaegar?

I knew from looking at his face that what I was seeing was real, Rhaegar was really here and alive. I just didn't know what to do about it. I couldn't move, I was frozen in place as Rhaegar walked closer to me. He stopped right in front of me "it's me Visenya."

"No. No, no, no," I spoke shaking my head. "Rhaegar Targaryen was murdered at the Trident by Robert Baratheon."

He chuckled a bit and by the old gods it sounded just like Rhaegar but I still wasn't sure. "Robert never killed me Senya." I tensed up even more at the old nickname. "He only thought that he killed me. I managed to come here and dye my hair so that no one would recognize me."

"Why didn't you come back?" I looked at him "why didn't you come find us."

"I did Senya." Rhaegar looked back at me. "I did, but I was still injured and by the time I got there mom was dead and the three of you were gone."

I stood still just staring at Rhaegar and thinking over everything he said before I let out a sob that I would deny until death before launching myself into his arms as tears streamed down both our cheeks.

We pulled and he kept has hands on my cheeks as I held his wrists. "Let's go back to where I'm staying it's dangerous for two Targaryens to be out in the open." He nodded as we separated before I led him back to my room in the temple.

"What happened to you guys?" Rhaegar asked me as he walked into the room and leaned against the wall.

"Well, our youngest sister was born. Her names Daenerys." I said as I redid the braid in my hair. "She's 15 now. Viserys took us and fled though I think he's lost his mind considering he married Dany to Khal Drogo."

"He WHAT!" Rhaegar yelled and when I looked at him, he looked absolutely outraged even though he'd never met Daenerys.

I nodded "I left after he made the deal because it was too dangerous for three Targaryens to be in one place. I sent a letter to Dany when I got here to tell her that I was safe."

Rhaegar looked all kinds of mad and confused at what happened before he spoke "they murdered my kids Senya."

I nodded and sighed " yeah, they did. But I promise brother we'll make them pay." He looked at me with tears in his eyes again before I spoke again "come on I need to show you something."

He looked at me confused before following me to the hearth where in the fire place were three dragon eggs. One purple and black, one blood red, and the final one gold and black. Rhaegar looked at the eggs silent for a minute before turning to me with wide eyes "you have dragon eggs?" I nodded as he let out a breath before he looked at me "I wasn't going to do this now but come with me."

He then took me to a room in the same temple and I walked in confused before I looked at his fire place and gasped seeing two dragon eggs. I looked at him to make sure and he nodded, I moved closer to them and saw that one was grey and the other was pure black. "I thought they were the last ones" he spoke from behind me.

"You know what we could do with these when they hatch?" I asked making sure that he and I were on the same page with this idea.

He nodded "we are going to take back our home once these guys hatch and grow older." I nodded before smiling at him. "I have something else to tell you Senya." I looked at him and stood silent motioning for him to go on. "I have a kid."

I laughed out loud at that "I know brother. I know about Jaehaerys and Rhaenys."

"No," he spoke cutting me off "It's not just them. I fell in love with Lyanna Stark and annulled my marriage to Elia and married Lyanna. When Robert nearly killed me Lyanna was why. It was all over Lyanna." I stared at him stunned before he held up a hand stopping me from speaking "She was pregnant and I learned that she gave birth to a boy who now lives in Winterfell with Lyanna's brother as a bastard. When Robert attacked me I was headed back to Kings Landing to challenge dad for the throne to stop him from burning people."

I stared at him for another minute "wait so you're saying that you have a son who's the heir and the whole war and rebellion was a lie." Rhaegar nodded sadly at that as I just stood there looking stunned realizing that my entire family was murdered because of a lie. "So what do you want to do about it."

"I want to go find him," Rhaegar looked at me almost like asking for permission as I nodded and he said "We won't go until we have Daenerys and all of the dragons are hatched and old enough." I nodded in agreement still reeling over the fact that he had another son and that this whole war was a lie.

So, I just love Rhaegar and Visenya's reunion. I changed the story of Rhaegar a bit to fit my story. Finally, as a word of warning these next couple of chapters there will be a couple of time skips just to get to the main part of the story. Let me know what you think.
