Love + Marriage

Robb: 

I woke up that morning determined to tell Visenya how I felt about her which was that I was pretty sure that I was in love with her. I wasn't sure how to feel about that especially with the history of the Targaryens and the Starks but knowing that it had been done before made me feel better about it. 

I followed Greywind outside to the cold of the snow and smiled when I saw Visenya outside with her dragons just watching them. I could watch them for days as this was where Visenya looked her happiest with her dragons. I was lost in thought before I heard "are you going to just stand there?" 

I looked to see Visenya who had switched her attention from her dragons to me. I sighed deciding to just bite the bullet "I've been thinking about something and I really just need to say it." She turned to face me fully and I noticed that her hair was pulled back in three elaborate braids along with a black dragon necklace. She nodded for me to continue "I don't know how in the seven this has happened but I've fallen in love with you." 

She stared at me blankly for a minute before smiling. She walked over to me and stood in front of me, she then reached up and rested her hand on my cheek before leaning up and pressing our lips together. I kissed her back immediately and smiled into it. She pulled back after what felt like hours but was probably only like thirty seconds. I smiled at her as I wrapped my arms around her. She looked up at me again "if it wasn't obvious I love you too." I smiled at that as we just stood there together taking in everything. 

3 months later: 

Visenya's pov: 

It has been three months since Robb and I confessed our love to each other and we couldn't be happy but now, now we were getting married. I had decided to do it in a Valyrian ritual like my family used to do. I was currently wearing a head piece that once belonged to my great grandmother Rhaenyra. Rhaegar, Daenerys, and Jon had come North to see it and had brought dragon glass with them. 

So here me and Robb were standing in front of my siblings and the Starks promising forever to each other. I cut Robb's lip with the dragon glass then my palm before handing it over to him. He smiled and looked at me before resting the dragon glass on my bottom lip and sliding it down the middle drawing blood trying to make it as painless as possible. He then brought the dragon glass to his palm before cutting it. He dipped his thumb in his palm and place the blood on my forehead as I did the same to him with my blood. 

We clasped palms and Daenerys wrapped a red cloth around our hands tying them together before we squeezed tightly causing our blood to drip into a goblet. I grabbed the goblet full of our blood and drank before handing it to Robb so that he could do the same. We then kissed after promising to each other forever. I could taste the copper on his tongue and his lips, I pulled away from him and smiled as he looked at me happily. As our hands were being untied he leaned into me and whispered "I love you." 

"I love you too." I spoke calm and confidently to him. We had a feast for the unification of the Targaryen and Stark houses while also honoring the Targaryen and Stark marriages from before with Cregan and Jacaerys along with Lyanna and Rhaegar allowing them to be seen and be put on public record as marriages. I looked at my brother who mouthed thank you to me after I officially made his and Lyanna's record legal knowing that she didn't die for nothing. 

*A/N: This is kind of a heavy chapter in both ways happy and sad. I'm afraid that this is the turning point where it will just be hit after hit for the Targaryens so here is your warning that there will definitely be some stuff in the rest of the book that will make you angry, sad, or horrified and quite possibly all of the above. It will get a lot more gory and bloody so this is the warning for that.*
