Gojo led you into the medical room where Ieiri leaned against a bench, but it was clear her body was stiff with anxiousness. She masked it well enough when she saw you, standing up and greeting you.
"Hey, Ieiri-san."
She showed you to a chair with the head-rest pulled back as far as possible; very similar to a dentist's chair. You lay down and Gojo continued to explain the trance to you.
"When you enter the trance, you will be in your own body in the dream, but you won't have any control over it. You'll be a bystander in your own body. Your body will act on its own, like how you will act in these visions in the future, but you'll be viewing it through your mind. You'll still feel every sensation, though. Make sense?"
"Sort of."
His fingers pressed against your temples.
"Practice controlling your cursed energy into your head," He told you.
You did as he said, and in less than a second, he said it would be more than enough to alert him.
"You have amazing control over your cursed energy," He noted. "Then let's get straight to it. Shoko's going to keep an eye on your vitals while you're out. Are you ready?"
You nodded, taking in a deep breath.
"Ok... I'm going to start, now. Relax your mind."
From his fingers, energy slowly poured into your head. It was a strange sensation; it felt numbing and liquid-like, like he was pouring a bottle of cold water into your brain. You quickly drifted off to sleep.

Your body moved on its own, walking you through the school yard. You could feel someone's hand holding yours. Out of the corner of your peripheral vision, you could tell it was Megumi.
He walked up a set of stairs with you, still holding your hand to help you over barricade tape and onto the dirt track. You checked your watch; it was half past three. School had finished.
In the middle of a track, you saw him. The boy in the yellow hoodie with pink hair. He grumbled about something to his coach, who yelled back, "No, you can't go home early! Nationals is soon, and we need you to run for us! Besides, you need an after-school club!"
"I already am in a club!"
"What one?"
"The occult club!"
"Why would you join that when you can compete in Nationals with us!?"
"I don't care about Nationals."
"But we need you! You could beat records– world records, even–"
"Don't care. I'm going home, now. I need to visit my grandpa."
"I'll make you verse me tomorrow in shot-put and we'll settle things," The coach muttered to himself as the boy left.
The boy jogged closer to you both, heading towards the stairs. You knew you'd sense the cursed object's presence he had when he passed by. You knew you'd feel it. Gojo said you'd be able to feel all sensations.
Nothing happened when he passed. No cursed energy radiating from his backpack.
"Did you feel any cursed energy?" You asked Megumi.
"No... Y/n, what if he wasn't the one who took the finger?"
"But it has to be. I know it was him."
"Maybe someone else took it."
"Then they'll put it back. I know he took it, Megumi. We should wait by the screen."
"You can wait by the screen, I'll go find the pink-haired boy. Call me if you need me, ok?"
The dream changed. The scene in front of you fell away, and you found yourself standing by the screen in the school yard. It was night; you couldn't see much of your surroundings.
You pulled out your phone and called Megumi.
"Yeah?" Megumi's voice asked through the speaker. "What's up? Did you see anyone?"
"No," You replied, "The finger still isn't there."
"I managed to talk to the guy. He said he doesn't know anything about it."
"And you can't feel the presence of it?"
"Nope."
The dream faded again and morphed into a new one, walls of a hospital materialising around you.
"It's you again," The pink-haired boy said to you. "I'm in mourning right now. What now?"
"Sorry, but do you have the cursed object?" You asked him.
"Eh? Are you serious? You gotta stop asking me that, I don't know what you're talking about. Your boyfriend already found me this morning and asked me the same thing."
"Have you heard about it at all?"
"No, I–"
Suddenly, the guy's phone buzzed in his pocket and he checked the message on it.
"Hey Itadori," He said, reading the text aloud to himself, "Some creepy guy gave us a box with something inside and we're going to open it tonight at the school. You should come..."
"When did they get the finger!?" You exclaimed.
"Is it bad if they open it?" Itadori asked you.
"They're going to die if they do." You pulled out your phone and called Megumi. "The finger is at the school. Some student has it and they're going to open it!"
"The pink-haired guy didn't have it?"
"No, someone gave it to a student instead..."
"That's weird..."
The hospital fell away and you found yourself in a new dream, running through the school corridors. "I'll look upstairs, you stay on this floor," Megumi said beside you. He ran up the staircase and disappeared.
The cursed energy was growing fast as you sprinted and you heard a voice from ahead of you.
"Leave the trance."
Who said that!? You thought.
"You're not hearing this through the trance; you won't hear this in the future. I am speaking to your mind only, the version of you viewing this through the trance. You need to leave the trance now.
"Don't fuck with the future, Y/n."
No. I'm not leaving.
"Then I'll kill you before you wake up."
