Once the six of you were back at your hotel, you changed out of your soaking wet uniform into a satin dressing gown in your favourite colour that you'd brought with you. You collapsed on the soft bed and cried in pain.

Everything hurt; there were puncture marks all over you, so there was no comfortable position to lie in. You heard a knock, followed by the sound of a keycard being accepted. The door opened.

"Heya, L/n-san!" You heard Gojo's familiar voice, "I've called a healer who's nearby in the city to come here and fix your wounds. I hear she has an amazing healing technique!"

"Great," You groaned in pain, your head in the soft pillows.

"She'll be here very shortly."

You nodded.

"In the meantime, here's your boyfriend to keep you company!"

"Shut up, I'm not Y/n's boyfriend!"

You finally looked up to see him standing behind Gojo near the door, blushing. Gojo left, shutting the door behind him.

Megumi hesitantly approached you. He stared a bit at the satin dressing gown, then saw the puncture marks along your legs.

"Uh... how are you feeling?" He asked.

"Shit."

"It's ok, the healer will be here soon," He reassured you, kneeling on the floor right next to your bed.

"So what's the news with Tsumiki?" You asked him.

"Some grade one sorcerers visited her this morning at the hospital. They were trying to remove the curse."

"Did it work?"

Megumi looked down and shook his head. "They're going back in a week to try again, but so far nothing's working."

You reached out a hand and put it on his head. You ruffled his hair a bit. "It's ok... I'm sure they'll find a way to wake her up."

He nodded, looking back up at you. He seemed to melt at your touch, which you found adorable.

"You did amazing today," He said.

"Thank you. I wish we could've saved Maki sooner, though."

"Yeah. But you defeated a grade one curse by yourself; that's going to increase your rank to at least grade two."

"Probably not, I need to exorcise more curses to get a higher rank, too."

"True."

His eyes seemed to be closing a bit, so you asked if he was tired.

"A bit."

"You can go back to your room and sleep, if you like."

His cheeks had a pink tint to them. "I want to stay here until the healer gets here to make sure you're ok."

"I'll be fine."

"You're in a lot of pain. You've lost a fair amount of blood, too."

"I promise I won't die before the healer comes."

"You can't promise that, Y/n."

"Yes I can. I'm pretty sure I'm not about to die from blood loss."

"You don't know that."

"I'm fine, just go and sleep if you need to," You insisted, running your hand through his hair again. He pouted and said, "If you want me to go away, just say it."

You laughed a bit at his reaction. "I don't want you to leave," You admitted, feeling your face heating up.

It was only now that you realised how close he was. He'd leaned forward a bit and you could see just how pretty his dark, cobalt blue eyes were. His pink lips looked soft, slightly parted.

He blushed when he caught you looking at his mouth, but he leaned in further. When you realised you'd been looking, you glanced back to his eyes.

His face was inches from yours. You couldn't believe this was about to happen; you hadn't meant to glance at his lips, but now he was staring at yours, leaning in.

There was a sudden knock on the door, and Megumi jumped up to get it. In walked a tall woman with long, brown shiny hair, wearing a white coat and black flats.

"Hi, you must be L/n-san?" She asked you, and you nodded, your face still hot with embarrassment.

She introduced herself as Akari Hirawa. "I'll be treating your wounds for you. I hear they're all over your body, right?"

You nodded again.

"Ok, so are you ok with taking off your dressing gown?" She asked you.

"Yeah."

"Sir, is it ok if you could leave for now?"

"Oh– yeah, of course," Megumi said, hiding his blush by pulling up the collar of his jacket as he briskly left the room.

You stood up, wincing as you did so. You carefully peeled off the dressing gown and threw it aside.

The healer pressed a finger to a puncture mark on your arm. You felt a warm, numbing feeling and in a matter of seconds, the wound was completely healed over, not even leaving a small scar.

It took her half an hour to heal all wounds. The healing technique was very relieving; it immediately took away the pain and replaced it a soothing numbing feeling.

Once she was done, you put your dressing gown back on and thanked her.

"I'll go heal the other girl, now," She replied, "And you're welcome!"

When she left the room, you decided to take a warm shower, since the water wouldn't make the puncture marks sting anymore. Afterwards, you turned on the TV and watched some anime. Megumi didn't come back in for the rest of the afternoon, which disappointed you a bit.

You couldn't stop thinking about what happened earlier. There was no way you could mistake it for something else; he definitely tried to kiss you. You knew that was no accident, and you could barely focus on the anime because you were grinning like an idiot.
