Chapter 39

On the past few days, Lisa has been practicing cooking at home with her mother every day.

In the afternoon, Jungkook wanted to help to cook but Lisa threw him out of the kitchen instead.

Jungkook was helpless and could only get out of there.

 But after a while, a scream came from inside the kitchen. This shocked Jungkook to death and rushed into the kitchen.

Lisa was frying potatoes, but the water on the potatoes was not completely drained yet. When she put them in the pan, the hot oil splashed right away. Lisa's face and the back of her hand were all got splashed. Lisa was so frightened that she retreated several meters away. She wanted to put out the fire, but as soon as she reached out, the oil was spurting out again.

When Jungkook came in, he saw Lisa holding a spatula and trying to put out the fire. But she was splashed by the oil and backed away, her face looking panicked and worried.

Jungkook immediately came over, pulled Lisa to his side to protect her, and calmly reduced the flames. Then, he took the spatula from Lisa's hands and fried them several times in the frying pan. After a while, the pan has stopped spurting the oil out.

There was a lot of smoke in the kitchen, Jungkook opened the window and then looked back at Lisa. The smile could not be hidden from his eyes.

Lisa hide behind Jungkook, when she saw Jungkook laughing at her instead, she was embarrassed and whispered, "It was so oily...."

Jungkook laughed loudly and rubbed her head affectionately, "Why are you so silly ah?"

Lisa pursed her lips and said quietly, "I forgot to drain the water"

Jungkook examined Lisa's face carefully and asked anxiously, "Does it hurt?"

Lisa shook his head, "It hurt a little earlier, but now it's not hurt anymore".

Jungkook checked carefully and only breathed a sign of relief after seeing that there was no sign of burns. He pulled Lisa to few meters away from the stove, "Let me do the cooking. In the future, you're not allowed to enter the kitchen".

Lisa stood at the back obediently intertwining her hands, she didn't say anything.

Jungkook was cooking the food when he felt something was not right. Sure enough, when he turned around, he saw Lisa standing at the back with her head own and a sad face.

Jungkook stared at her for a while and Lisa sensed that there were eyes on her. She looked up and met Jungkook's smiling eyes.

Lisa blinked her eyes, those black pupils made her look like a cute little rabbit.

Jungkook finally couldn't help but smile and pointed to the cupboard containing the spices, 
"Take the salt over here".

When Lisa realized that there was something she could do, her eyes lit up. She immediately looked for a jar of salt and handed it to Jungkook, "How many spoons?"

Jungkook looked at the food on the wok and said, "Half a spoon".

Lisa immediately scooped up the salt and made Jungkook helpless, "You little fool, just half a spoon".

"Ah?" Lisa hastily poured back some of the salt, "Is this enough?"

Jungkook glanced at it, "Hmm, that's enough. Add another half a spoon".

Lisa obediently put in another half a spoon.

Shortly, Jungkook finished cooking the potato wedges and handed them to Lisa, "Clever girl, take them out".
