Getting out of the car, Jungkook headed straight for the hospital building. He ran so fast that Lisa couldn't catch up behind him.
She had never seen Jungkook so panicked. In the car before, Jungkook's face was completely pale and his body shook uncontrollably.
It was about his grandmother who depended on each other to live with.
Lisa felt like her heart was choking on something, it was so uncomfortable, and was hard to breathe. She kept praying in her heart, hoping that Grandma would be fine and nothing bad happened.
Jungkook ran to the operating room on the third floor.
It was winter, but the t-shirt inside his jacket was already soaking wet and his forehead was also sweating.
He saw Yeonjun outside the operating room and immediately ran over to him. He held Yeonjun's arm firmly. "What happened to my grandma? She is okay, right? She is okay, right?"
His eyes reddened and stared fixedly at Yeonjun, his voice almost sounding like a growl.
Yeonjun held his hand and tried to calm him down. "Don't get too anxious first. Grandma suddenly fainted at home, and now the doctor is trying to save her".
Jungkook's entire body stiffened, cold sweet dripping down his forehead.
He was stunned for a very long time and finally released Yeonjun's hand.
His body seemed to lose its strength and he stumbled back a step and then leaning against the wall.
He looked up and stared at the light-up in operating room's door. He suddenly remembered so many things from his childhood.
He still remembered when he was a child, when his mother had just left him, he lived alone in the dilapidated rented house.
The room was empty and he was cowered down in a corner of the living room. That night, for the first time in his life, he felt lonely and afraid.
He had no father, nor did his mother want him.
The next morning, the living room door suddenly opened and Grandma was standing at the door. Grandma looked at him for a very long time, the slowly walked over to him.
Grandma crouched down in front of him and cried as she hug him. "Kookie, my child. Grandma will take you home".
When Lisa reached upstairs, she saw Jungkook squatting outside the operating room with blank eyes.
She had never seen Jungkook this desperate, her heart ached so much she thought it's going to crash.
She quickly ran over to him and crouched down by Jungkook's side. She held Jungkook's hand and comforted him gently, "Kookie, don't be afraid. Grandma will definitely fine...."
When Jungkook heard Lisa's voice, he finally came back to his senses. He looked up and stared at Lisa.
Lisa looked back at him and could only hold Jungkook's hand even tighter. Her voice was very gentle, "Kookie, don't be afraid...."
Jungkook looked at her and wanted to say something, but his throat was burning and the pain was appalling.
He stared at Lisa for a very long time but not a single word would come out.

The operation continued until four in the afternoon. The operating room door opened from inside and the doctor walked out.
Jungkook immediately stepped forward and asked nervously, "Doctor, how is my grandmother? She is fine, right?"
The doctor in change was a middle-aged man who wore glasses. He shook his head and said, "For the time being, it's not life-threatening".
