when stevie was 6 months old he had his first ever pa trip we went to manards and it was not pet friendly so we walked in and someone asked the two ADA quesions and then we were walking down the landery soap and then a big white dog comes charging at us it spooked my dog and i said "that is not a service dog" and i was pised then stevie and i walked off to where we were going then i droped the leash to work on his off leash and he was very good then a little boy he was about 3 or 4 and he and his mom came over and the boy asked about my dog and i told him and his mom about service dogs and what they do and the different types of sd and he asked if he could pet stevie and i let him and then the mom said thank you and then they went on their way then another little kid said "mommy its a working doggy!" and her mom said yea we don't pet working doggys and the mom and child said my dog was very well behaved and the little girl said i think you have a cute working doggy and i said thank you and then we walked to the outdoor area and then after we got what we needed we went to checkout and the woman cheking us out said my dog was very cute and asked if she could pet and i said i'm sorry he's working at the moment maybe next time and the worker completly understood and then we got our stuff went to our car and loaded stevie in the back and then got in and drove home after we got home i took stevie's gear off and told him free and he got to be a dog and play.
