A/n: Okay I don't know what happened but this idea just popped into my head. I hope you enjoy to see another side of Venable ☺️ and yes I gave Wilhemina her own company because the baby deserves it. This one is for Mrs. Winnie VennysAssistant

You strolled into the big office complex that you called your working place since about four months now. Being Wilhemina Venable's assistant was something most young people in New York wished for since she was running the biggest technology company in town and had more international success than her competitors could ever wish for.

As lucky as you were being the chosen one for that Chance the unlucky most people thought you actually were for the woman was not easy to deal with. At least not for them. At least not for every other assistant before you. At least not for all her business partners. But for you, oh for you she was heaven to be around. You quickly adjusted to the older woman's mood swings, to her stern demeanour and to the tasks you found unnecessary first but eventually saw the bigger purpose of it.

Day by day and night by night making over shifts with her you found a liking in her. Even making her laugh now and then with your clumsiness or having lunch with her just sitting in comfortable silence next to each other. You got into the lift, pushing the button of the highest floor. You dragged onto your black pencil skirt, putting it into place before adjusting your lilac blouse opening the first button. Just for a slight tease since you exactly knew the attraction towards the red head wasn't just one sided.

A smirk graced your features after the lift came to an hold with a loud "bing". You stepped out walking towards the glass door already sitting your boss typing away on her laptop, her bottom lips sucked in between her lips showing how concentrated she was in the task before her.

"Good morning boss."
You said into her direction after opening the door. She briefly looked up, the tiniest of smiles appearing on her face. "Good morning." She answered shortly.

You went to your table that was next to her office in a tiny office for yourself just being separated by a white door from your bosses one. You got settled and started working through the mountain of papers in front of you. You loved your job not just because of the little crush you had on your boss but also the field itself. You felt confident in the things you did and the environment was always comfortable and friendly.

After about an hour you heard a loud "shit." coming from Wilhemina's part of the office. You get up making your way to the doorframe. Infront of you was a clearly stressed and pale Wilhemina, gathering all her things just throwing it into her bag which confused you since your boss for sure had some anger issues but never was unorganized nor would show herself out of order.

"Wilhemina are you okay?" you said concerned after she didn't even seem to notice you standing there.

"I'm so sorry y/n but I gotta go, cancel my calls for the day, please do the papers though some are due tomorrow." she said rushed while grabbing her jacket and running out the door.

Wow.

Stretching your legs and arms still sitting on the rather comfortable office chair your eyes darted to the clock. You have an hour left before you're officially allowed to go though you did your work plus some of your red haired bosses' to take some pressure off her shoulders. Your mind darted back to her abrupt leaving. It's unusual for her.

Wilhemina basically lives in the office, the only day she strictly claims for herself are the Sundays. Even if the world was going down you could not reach her on those days. Well deserved in your opinion for the woman dedicates her entire life to this company, not liked by some of your useless coworkers who do not seem to make it one day without her even though working on Sundays in this company is rather rare.
