<<[The Argonaut's Return]>>

Izuku Midoryia is a young boy with the dream of becoming a hero, he was raised in a fairly big apartment with his mother, Inko Midoryia, and his sister, Izumi. They were a close family and loved each other very much. Izuku and Izumi, both dreamt of becoming heroes together in the future, until...

"Sorry, it's not going to happen." The Doctor said. Today was the day where Izuku and Izumi would find out about their quirks, unfortunately, it didn't go the way they planned out.

"What do you mean?" Inko asked.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Midoryia. Your daughter, Izumi, was born with a similar quirk to yours, but your son, Izuku, doesn't have a quirk, he can't be a hero..." The Doctor explained that Izuku and Izumi's dreams were shattered.

While Izumi was happy she had a quirk, she couldn't help but feel disappointed that she wouldn't be able to become a hero with her brother. All the while, Izuku was in utter shock, as his dreams were crushed. The Midoryia family returned home, and Inko and Izumi were trying to cheer up Izuku, until it became nighttime, as Izuku let out all of his tears, and cried himself to sleep.

Why...

Why...

Why...

'I want to become a hero...' Izuku thought, as he drifted to sleep.

After a few moments, Lil' Izuku woke up in an unfamiliar place. The area was vast, with almost no end in sight, the ground resembled that of shallow water, almost reflecting off of the clear blue sky, it was warm, and the air felt fresh. Izuku looked around and saw a pedestal, with a black knife floating within a clear crystal orb.

"What, is that?" Izuku questioned, as he walked up to the knife. The green-haired boy touched the crystal orb, and it shattered, causing a large amount of energy to be released. "Wha– What's happening?!" Izuku exclaimed, he covered his eyes as a white light began to engulf his vision.

After a few minutes, the light and immense energy subsided, and Izuku opened his eyes again, to see a boy with white hair, and ruby-colored eyes, sitting on the pedestal where the knife used to be.

"Hello." The white-haired boy greeted.

"Who... Are you?" Izuku questioned.

"Well, my name is, Bell Cranel, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, Izuku Midoryia." Bell introduced.

"Wait, Bell Cranel? As in 'The Hero That Ended The Age Of Gods' and 'The Last Argonaut', that Bell Cranel!? Bell Cranel knows my name!" Izuku exclaimed.

"Yup," Bell responded happily.

"That's so cool!!" Izuku yelled excitedly. "Hey, how was it back then?! What kind of creatures did you face?! What–" Izuku was continuously asking questions until Bell cut him off.

"Listen, Izuku, my time with you is short. So, let's get to the point. Izuku Midoryia, you are a descendant of the Cranel Family, and you are also my reincarnation. That is why I am here today." Bell informed. "A few centuries ago, the powers you call "Quirks" were Powers, Spells, Skills, and Genetic traits from the different races, that have reawakened since the Age of Gods. And from that day forward, the world was split in two, with one side believing that these powers allow them to do whatever they want, while the other saw these powers as a gift, and a responsibility to keep the innocent safe." Bell continued.

"But why would you awaken now? The world is at peace for the most part?" Izuku asked.

"While that may be true at the moment, peace doesn't last long, in a world where people are gaining powers left and right. In addition to that, centuries ago, a Great Evil appeared, he was known as, All For One. He possesses the power to steal the Quirks of others, his Quirk possessing the same name, and is the arch-nemesis of the current Symbol of Peace, All Might, who wields the power One For All, which was passed down to him." Bell informed, causing Izuku's eyes to widen. "All For One, will return and stronger than before, and I want you to be the Hero that defeats him," Bell said.

"But I can't, I wasn't born with a Quirk," Izuku informed.

"I know, that's why I'm here, I'm going to merge my soul with yours, and give you my powers. Also, I'm not telling you to fight this battle alone, you will need help in taking, All For One, down." Bell explained. "All of my powers, my memories, my experience with become yours," Bell said.

"Are you sure I can do this?" Izuku said with doubt in his voice, to which Bell smiled.

"Let me tell you something my Grandfather told me once, the words that made me who I was," Bell said.

"Not just anyone can be called a Hero... It isn't a title someone gains, for bearing a sword or carrying a shield, and it has nothing to do with abilities or strength. A Hero is someone willing to risk his life for the people he loves, you might find a few obstacles along the way, but don't lose heart. A Hero will always rise amongst the fallen."

"These, we're the words my Grandfather told me, the words that made me who I am. Izuku, stay true to your wishes, and cry out with all of your desire, because only then, will a Hero shine the brightest." Bell said, placing a hand on Izuku's head, while the green-haired boy, looked up to Bell in admiration. "Izuku Midoryia, you too, can become a Hero." Bell gave the boy a warm smile.

"I promise, I will stop, All For One, and become a Hero you can be proud of!" Izuku said.

"I'm already proud of you. When my soul merges with yours, you will take more of my appearance, but not by much, as you get older, you will unlock more of my powers, so be patient." Bell informed.

"I will," Izuku said.

At that moment, Bell's body began to fade.

"Looks like my time is up... Stay strong, Izuku, and keep your head high. Take care." Bell said, giving his final goodbye.

"Bye, Mr. Argonaut!" Izuku said, giving Bell a wide smile, to which Bell returned.

"Bye, Izuku, and good luck," Bell said.

Soon after, everything went dark, and Izuku woke up in his bed. He sat up as the door to his room opened up, revealing his mother.

"Izuku, are you alright–!? Izuku, what happened!?" Inko exclaimed.

"What do you mean, Mom?" Izuku asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"Baby, look at yourself in the mirror!" Inko exclaimed worried.

Izuku went to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. His eyes widened, as he saw his new appearance. His fluffy dark green hair became snow-white, and his green eyes became ruby-red, the boy also noticed he lost his freckles.

'So, it was real.' Izuku thought as all of Bell's memories flooded his mind, giving him a major headache.

After a few minutes, the headache subsided, the now white-haired boy then went up to his mother and gave a comforting smile.

"Izuku, what happened?" Inko asked.

"I guess the doctor was wrong, I was possibly just a late bloomer," Izuku said.

"Baby, do you feel different?" His mother asked.

"Well, I feel a little stronger than before," Izuku responded.

"I-I see..." Inko said.

"Hey, Mom... I'm going to be a hero!" Izuku said, to his mother's surprise, with eyes that possessed a blindingly straight resolve.

"Of course," Inko replied, with a soft and loving smile.
