This morning was going to be weird. It's been a week and Jeffrey has literally given me a gift everyday, just like he said. When I got out of bed, he handed me a box and walked away so I opened it. Inside the box, there were a bunch of chocolate letters that spelled Please Forgive Me?. I shut the box and put it with the rest of the stuff he got me. It's only been a week and in tired of all of the gifts. If it hadn't taken a month for him to apologize, I would've forgiven him already.
Irritated, I grabbed my clothes from my dresser and started changing. As I pulled my shirt over my head, Jared walked in.
"Do you ever knock Jared?"
"Nope." He smirked.
"It's a good thing I was dressed already."
"Yeah." He chuckled and sat on my bed. "What gift did Jeffrey get you today?"
"Top box on my pile." I replied as he reached for it. When he opened it, he looked up at me.
"More chocolate?"
"Yeah."
"That's like the second box. Can I have a piece?"
"No. I'm not going to do anything with any of the gifts he gives me. They're all going to sit in a pile over there." I sighed and pointed to the growing stack of boxes.
"He has a lot more gifts ready for you, just saying."
"I figured. He's not one to break a one way promise to himself or any promise in general."
"That's true. But if you don't forgive him soon, you'll be getting a lot more boxes." He sighed and stood up. "Wanna do something today?"
"Beach?" I suggested.
"Sure. Want me to see if the others want to come?"
"Yeah sure." I smiled. We walked out of my room. Jared went to go find the boys and I went to Julianna's room. When I knocked, she opened it quickly.
"What did you get this morning?" She asked.
"Box of chocolate letters." I sighed. "That doesn't matter though. Jared and I were wondering if you wanted to come to the beach with us."
"That sounds like fun. Our whole family going?"
"Jared is asking the boys as we speak so let's go find Addi and ask her."
"Okay." She smiled and we went to go find Addison. She was sitting in the game room with Jordan and Jesse.
"Hey guys. We were wondering if you wanted to go to the beach today as a family."
"Okay. I'm in. Jordan, are you?" Addison giggled.
"Yeah. I'll go." He smiled then looked over at Jesse.
"Sure. Sounds fun." He chuckled and they ended their game. Jesse stood up and walked over to me and whispered to me. "You okay?"
"Yeah. I'm fine." Other than Julianna and Jared, Jesse was the only other person who knew about the Jeffrey thing.
"Just wondering. Is he coming with us?"
"Hopefully not." I sighed.
"Yeah...hopefully." he sighed then threw his arm around my shoulder. I just smiled as we all walked up the stairs.
"Thank you Jesse."
"For what?"
"Being my best friend."
"Oh. You're welcome."
"Lets go." I smiled and went up to my room to change into my new bikini. When I was done, I went to the living room to see everyone was waiting. "Everyone ready?"
