"Hello sweetheart!! Missed me?"
Jimin clasped his hands together to stop them from shaking violently. He gritted his teeth and tried to remain still, but the cold fingers that slithered on his nape, caused him to shudder in fear. He bit his lower lip and averted his gaze from the phone, too ashamed to face Jin. He knew that look on his Jin hyung's face. The disappointment and fear were evident in Jin's eyes, despite the poker face he sported now.
Jimin swallowed hard, feeling guilty and ashamed to have fallen for Junghoon's cheap trick.
"Look at me", the calmness in Jin's voice didn't surprise Jimin.
Instead, he released a shaky breath. If it was some other time, Jimin would have felt relieved by that calmness in Jin's face, because it indicated that Jin had taken the reins and was ready to fight. But Jimin didn't want that to happen, since he knew that Jin would stake his everything to save him once again.
"Hey, look at me", Jin's tone was tender this time, and it only upset Jimin more.
Jimin raised his eyes again and looked at the phone screen timidly, while Junghoon scoffed at Jin.
"Sweetheart, it isn't good manners to ignore someone's greeting", he complained, "especially if that someone is an important person or he holds something that is important to you"
"Are you okay?", Jin asked Jimin, ignoring Junghoon again, "Are you hurt anywhere?"
Jimin shook his head slowly, as tears spilled out of his eyes.
"Good...", Jin smiled in satisfaction and turned to Junghoon, who glared at Jin with a cold gaze, "So you were saying?", he asked nonchalantly.
"Haaa...", Junghoon huffed, looking dismayed, "Unbelievable!! Ssss... But so damn enticing", he licked his lips, "Is this the real you, sweetheart? Woww... I never knew that a sassy, indifferent attitude could turn me on so much, but that arrogance looks so hot on that pretty face. What a waste though!"
Junghoon turned to Jimin, pressing his fingertips a bit firmly over the terrified boy's nape, "Has your partner always been this seductive? Hmmm?"
Jimin gulped, pulling back in detest to leave some distance between him and Junghoon. But Junghoon grabbed Jimin's waist and stopped him from moving away.
"Didn't you train your pet properly, sweetheart?", Junghoon questioned Jin, faking a disappointed sigh, "A simple text message from Jungkook's number was all it took to lure this cute chicken out on to the streets... tsk.. tsk... how disappointed you must be!!"
"Highly disappointed, indeed", Jin agreed and leaned against the treadmill, "I should have trained him to slit the throat of any horny motherfucking creep like you, who dares to touch him without his consent"
"Not again...", Junghoon groaned and yanked Jimin closer to him, "You aren't foul-mouthed like your partner, are you? Because I have a natural aversion towards disrespectful people, and it provokes me... you know, it triggers me to break that confident and brazen attitude"
