You and Heizou were hanging out around Inazuma city, he had lost a bet and as promised, he would take you to buy a new light novel at the Yae publishing house. Skipping happily, you wore a big grin on your face, in triumph and glory as you dragged Heizou along, as he sighed in defeat. You spotted the publishing house from a mile away, rushing to the store you skimmed and scanned through the books displayed on the shelf. "Ooo! Look at this book Heizou! Let's get this one, we can read it together!" You beamed enthusiastically as the male beside you took out his wallet and paid for the book. "Really? This is your choice?" Heizou made a judgmental comment as you nodded in delight while he handed you the book.

Now you and your maroon haired companion traveled to a nearby forested area so you two could read the book comfortably in the silence of the nature and animals in the region. The both of you found a suitable area to take a seat and relax. You sat down with a little plop and opened the book. Heizou sat down beside you, peering over your shoulder so he could read alongside you. Beginning to read the book aloud to Heizou. You flipped to a certain page, you stopped your reading and stared at the page.

Looking at Heizou with a puzzled look, the male looked back at you, seeming just as confused as you. You returned your focus back to the page which contained a weird sentence, written in a big font. You mumbled the sentence to yourself. "The tempted survivor will soon turn to madness once pushed far enough." Before you could close the book, the writing had turned it some bloody red. The liquid dripped down to your hand. Everything began to spin, growing more and more dizzy you heard the shouts of Heizou before you fainted. 

Waking up in a foreign place, you let out a whimper as you grasped your head in attempt to soothe the pounding that slowly faded in your mind. You sat up and looked around carefully as to not shake your head to quickly. You soon spotted Heizou who was laying down, assumably asleep. He looked uncomfortable so you decided to put him out of his misery of discomfort by waking him. "Wake up doofus, look where we are." You shook Heizou awake, grabbing him gently by the shoulders and softly rocking his body back and forth, up and off the ground.

"5 more minutes..." Heizou shrugged you off, rolling on his side as you placed him down. Scoffing, you stood up. Gaining more energy as you concentrated. You glared down at Heizou as you kicked him in the dick. "AH! MAN ALIVE Y/N WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DO THAT?" Heizou yelped, curling up in a ball, hitting his hand against the ground. "Now you know what happens when you don't listen!" You replied, helping the male stand up. Heizou was still muttered a string of curses while wincing. "Oh, come on you drama bitch. Let's hurry up and find a way out." You said, walking off to try finding some clue that will help you figure out where you are or even better, how to leave.

Heizou quickly followed behind, still in a bad mood. You turned a corner around a building as you regretted the decision instantly. "Oooh... I didn't want to see that today nope, no sir..." You said, backing away. Heizou got confused as he followed your gaze behind the corner. Heizou's eyes widened at the sight. A bloodied girl, dead. Her eyes emotionless. Her own blood dripped in a puddle underneath her back. The victim's hair all matted with blood and grime. The male behind you sighed, rushing past you to investigate the body. Heizou bent down, crouching in attempt to find anything off.

"I'm going to go look else were... We'll meet up back here and wait for the other person if we found anything, we shall give up if we find nothing once the sun starts to fade." You stated as the burgundy haired male gave you a nod and a hum, not sparing you a glance as he was deep in thought. You searched around the perimeter; you had found a notebook and pencil. The book contained some notes which had some notes jotted down, places to go, hints and puzzles. Some you could figure out, some you figured you'd get Heizou's help with once you reunited.

You had also written down some notes of your own. For example, you had found a couple more bodies, some which had evidence towards something you had a feeling was important. You looked up at the sky. The sun was setting. You rushed towards the assigned meeting place so you could share your discoveries with Heizou. Once you arrived, you couldn't find him. The moon was slowly becoming the only source of light as you began to panic inside. "What if he got hurt? Did he get murdered? Is Heizou alright?" You muttered, pacing around in circles. Out of pure anger and worry, you kicked the wall on which the body was resting. The girl's body had fell down, revealing a clue.

You took this newfound clue as a sign of Heizou's whereabouts. With determination, you went the opposite way you went before. After a bit of searching, you found the book, the book that had taken you in. An idea popped up into your head, you flipped through the pages, you soon found the page. You read the sentence aloud again. The book had the same reaction. You closed your eyes as you fainted once more. Waking up in the same spot as before, you saw Heizou.

He was resting peacefully against the tree, the book in his lap. Your eye twitched slightly. "YOU WERE ASLEEP THIS WHOLE TIME!?" You screeched, realizing you still had the notebook you found. Smirking to yourself, you bashed the book against his head. "OKAY! OKAY! I'M AWAKE, YOU DON'T NEED TO HIT ME EVERYTIME YOU SEE ME ASLEEP!" Heizou shot up, now completely awake as he pleaded for you to stop. "You're coming with me to go through this book away. Also, how dare you leave me behind! I was working hard to figure out how to leave, and you just abandon me!?" You huffed, pulling Heizou up by his ear, grabbing the book that had fallen as well.

Heizou sighed in defeat as he sadly followed behind you. The male had made a mental note not to leave you anywhere without saying the next time you two hung out. You felt bad for getting so worked up so as an apology, you attempted to make a small conversation about the adventure you had just went through. "You know what! That stupid book should have been named, the case of a murder mystery instead..."
