I'm sitting there nervous as heck,feeling like a little kid sitting in the back seat of his mothers mini van on the way to his first day of school. Fidgeting and tapping my fingers on the steering wheel finally snapping back to reality where all you can hear in the car is the automatic robotic voice coming from the GPS telling me to turn left on the next street.

Lucy finally breaks the silence saying "Hey Spence,don't fret about it to much okay they're gonna fall for you the moment they see you, just like they're little princess did" rolling her eyes and laughing for talking about herself in third person like that. Making me laugh right with her although mine was out of nervousness. The rest of the ride there I kept on thinking of how she actually convinced me to do this and more importantly how did I even agree to it? She probably casted a spell on me, yeah that makes sense.Yeah I've heard of her parents,I mean I feel like I kinda know them already but we've never been properly introduced before.I mean no one bothers to do these types of things anymore, times have changed and I'm not the talkative type either.

Lucy has been wanting to join her family and me for a family dinner since the moment we made it official but it never actually came around due to the fact that Lucy kept on bitching it wouldn't be an actual family dinner with out her older brother Parker,who had been off on some type of abroad scholarship for university or something like that. Don't get me wrong there's nothing bad with that,the longer it was postponed the better.

Before I knew it the feminine voice coming from the GPS was telling me that I had arrived to my destination.Pulling up in the driveway the slowest I could buying time and avoiding stepping foot in the house.Stepping out of the car closing the door,everything was so surreal it was begging to close on me,all the thoughts going trough my mind like what If was a disappointment or a failure,what if they didn't like the way I dressed, my black skinny jeans and shaggy long hair that cascades over my eyes and not to mention all my tattoos.

Lucy's loud knock on the front door cut me out of my insane thoughts and brought me back down to earth where somehow my legs had made it all the way to the front door and they were standing on a really nice mat that said in cursive "WELCOME" I don't know why but that put me at ease and made me forget about the previous stupid things that were going through my head just a minuet ago.As if they were standing right next to the door,they opened the first time and quickly swung it wide open.

Within a matter of seconds right in front of me was standing the one and only Mrs.Jones smiling at us as if she was being payed a million bucks to do so.Smiling right back at her about to introduce myself I feel arms pull both of me and Lucy into a tight and warming embrace. She lets go after a while but still keeps a hand on each of our shoulders and says "Hi Spencer my name is Eva,I know we haven't actually meet and to be completely honest I have no idea why.All of this should've happened sooner if you ask me,anyways I'm so happy having you here in my home." Walking Two steps ahead of us Mrs.Jones is now showing us the way to the kitchen,I turn around and give Lucy a quick peck on the lips and hold her hand tightly.

We come to a stop when we reach the dinning room.Looking down at the table I see five sets of plates,cloth napkins,knives,forks, spoons,glass cups and everything.Seeing how much effort Lucy's family put into this dinner suddenly makes me slyly start getting nervous all over again. My nervousness is cut short when Mr.Jones walks in the dinning room slightly jumping with surprise of seeing me there stand in front of him "O hey I didn't even hear you guys come in,how rude of me my name is Norman Jones nice to meet you" he says shaking my hand. He follows with "Well it's about time we had this dinner once and for all how about we all sit down and enjoy this lovely smelling food" but before we can all sit down I hear a voice say "Starting with out me?" Soon Lucy screams "PARKER!! I haven't seen you in forever" while running towards a tall looking guy. I can't really see his face from here but I'm assuming by his name he's her bigger brother Parker.
